Rated 2 out of 5by Not for every animalJust like in humans, animals tend to not tolerate a certain medication. For my cat, that was Clavamox. She was treated for bacteria in her urine. After at least 3 doses were given, my cat had come down with a case of chronic diarrhea. She literally couldn't make it to the litter box. Other than the bacteria in the urine, the blood test came back normal. So nothing else was causing this unusual behavior. Of course, I no longer gave her the medication and the diarrhea has gradually eased. Not to mention on top of all of this she did not want to eat much. I am not saying this is a bad drug, I am saying it is not for every animal and to be mindful of your animals behaviors. Drugs do cause side affects in animals and in humans a like. 03/07/2016
Rated 5 out of 5by Culloden is much better!Poor Culloden has a facial abscess that I did not notice until it burst and started draining. He must have been in so much pain! Dr. Wicker told us she prefers Clavamox but warned us that it was expensive - what's expensive for a good dog? He is so much better after only 3 doses! This pill seems to work well - although I thoroughly detest pills for Culloden because he won't be fooled into taking them from pill pockets - no, I have to stick my hand down his throat twice a day. It's all worth it, though - it helped my German shepherd dog after mom fell down on the job! 11/19/2015

Rated 5 out of 5by My 13 Year old Welch TerrierWas diagnosed with bladder cancer in February. She had lots of blood in her urine. My vet put her on Clavamox, Tremedol, and Metacam and she has been fantastic since. No blood in her urine and eating well playful.... I am so grateful. 08/27/2009
Rated 5 out of 5by Sustaining my 9 month old kittenI am so thankful for Clavamox and for the great service PetCareRx has given. FIP is an incureable virus one which my kitten was diagnosed with 4 weeks ago. Clavamox and lots of prayer has maintained her breathing and has kept her appetite healthy. She had no side-effects and takes the pill easily using a pill shooter. You do need a prescription from your vet. 06/17/2008

Rated 5 out of 5by Used for my Cat's UTIAfter I paid my vet $25 for this same medication, I tired PetCareRx. I have gotten flea meds for years, but this was my fist try for an ABX. I was amazed that the price less than half what I paid at the vets office! Plus my recent purchase of Advantage earned me additional pet points savaings! I want to be a good momma, and Thanks to PetCareRx, it is easier. 05/10/2008

Rated 5 out of 5by Used for my dog's UTI infectionThis medicine was prescribed for my dog's UTI infection. Within two days I could see a noticeable difference. My vet told me that some pets don't respond well to it and throw up, so it is something to consider. 07/12/2007
