Transition Instructions

Making the Switch to Pro Plan: Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your cat, please allow 7 to 10 days to ease the transition from your cat's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

Cats love this !

We just put a few rescued cats on this weight management chicken and rice formula as they seem to be getting a bit overweight. They love to eat and want to eat their food and other cats food as well.. Now at feeding time they get put in a different room away from the others and only fed weight management. It seems to satisfy their hunger so far. They also tend to be a little more active.

My cats love this food--too much!

I am trying to get my 2 cats to lose weight, as suggested by their vet. I decided to try this food and my cats love it. Problem is: they love it so much they gobble it down and cry for more!!!! So when I'm home with them (and not at work), I feel compelled to dole out their evening meal in 2 parts. Has anybody else had this problem??? I never have and I've had cats all my life...

Has helped my cat lose weight

I have been feeding my extremely overweight cat, Pro Plan Weight Management formula for the last few years. In two years, he has gone from 32 pounds to 26 pounds! His vet is very happy with his progress. He still has a long way to go but with ProPlan weight management formula, he can do it.

Fantastic!

I've been feeding my cats this food for years and it's been great at keeping them at their ideal weight! They never tired of eating it and are always running to the bowls when it's feeding time. I would definitely recommend this food to anyone looking for a great formula and one that will keep their cats at an ideal weight.

Hypercalcemia improved

My cat had problems with hypercalcemia while on other diets, but as soon as I switched to this one, his hypercalcemia problems disappeared. My cat loves the flavor and I don't have problems with him not eating it.

We do not get in too many with overweight issues, but have. They did eat the Chicken and rice which sometimes can be difficult with felines.

Great benefits

I purchased this food for one of our senior cats who was getting a little too much "junk in her trunk." The vet suggested a weight management food so we purchased Pro Plan Focus Adult Weight Management Chicken and Rice Formula. We were hoping she would like it and she did so that is what we are feeding her now.

Keeps those kitties trim

We received this as a bulk donation for our rescue cats and were pleasantly surprised with how well it works. Often our cats are in stores (to be seen by the public for adoption), and because of this are caged. Caged cats tend to get bored and over-eat unfortunately. We decided to switch our cats to Weight Management to see if that would make a difference -- and it did! And we (and the cats) couldn't be happier while waiting for forever homes.

I'm not fat I'm fluffy

As Maya gets older, she seems to like to eat like a pig. But when she does, she gets fat and doesn't play as much. With the weight management, I can still give her some yummy food and she doesn't even know she's dieting.

Just a few too many

When we first received Tia she weighted 13.5 pounds and she is not a big cat. With putting her on weight management and some play time, she is now down to 9.9 pounds and is looking better.

Great Food - works well for overweight kitties

We had an adult rescue cat who at age 3 suddenly started to add weight rapidly - until we switched him to this formula : chicken/rice weight management. We'd tried another food previously but struggled to get him to eat it - so this was a great find. He liked the food and began losing the extra pounds settling on his perfect weight! We kept him on it to maintain his ideal weight.

Something is wrong

I have been feeding this to my four cats and two neighborhood cats for a long time and they have loved it, but just bought a new bag this week and none of the cats will eat it., my one cat was actually mad. Did you change the formula recently? I did go back and buy the Urinary Tract formula, but they don't like it either. I would recommend this a week ago, but not today.
