Percorten-V is used for the treatment of Canine Addison’s Disease, which is a condition where the adrenal glands of the dog do not work properly. Healthy adrenal glands create mineralocorticoids that control several bodily functions such as blood pressure, metabolism, and stress response. The medication is also used in dogs that suffer a mineralocorticoidsdeficiency due to the Canine Addison’s Disease.
