Happy dogs
Iโ€™ve given this to my dogs since they were puppies. It was recommended by my vet for my 2 Australian shepherds. Itโ€™s protected them with no side effects. 1 will eat it straight. They other has to have it cut up and mixed in wet food. Itโ€™s a pretty big piece for larger dogs. by on 03/13/2023

Interceptor plus was recommended by my vet for my 2 aussies, and it works great. One will eat it straight up, the other has to have it cut up in tiny pieces and hidden in his food. No bad reactions. by on 09/16/2022

My dog likes it
My dog did not resist taking this medicine and it did not appear to have any ill effects on him. I have no way of knowing for certain that Interceptor Plus has prevented him from getting worms, but he seems fine after his first six months on this medicine. by on 09/05/2020

Best combination of protection
I got this for my German Shepherd and he eats it like any other treat. I really like this product compared to Heartgard Plus (or generic TriHeart plus) because it also protects against whipworm and tapeworms. The other products only cover heart worm, round worm, and hook worm. So this gives protection from 2 other common parasites for just a little bit more $. I initially considered using Setinel Spectrum which covers all of the above plus fleas. However, sentinel spectrum does not cover ticks meaning if you want tick prevention you are going to get it with flea protection from another product. So for me I Interceptor Plus is the best protection (most number of worms) and I combine it with Bravecto chewable to get Flea and Tick prevention. by on 06/02/2018
