Hill's Science Diet Senior 7+ Small & Mini Chicken Meal, Barley & Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food

My senior heeler 13 years old was not eating the dog food he had eaten for years. He was losing weight and going downhill. We thought we might lose him. Our vet recommended Adult 7+ small bites. He loves it and started eating again. He has put on weight and has made quite a turnaround. It's like a miracle to us. He is able to do his business easier and doesn't have any trouble with constipation. This is a great dog food. I have switched my other 2 dogs to Hills Adult 1-7. They love it as well. No artificial flavors or preservatives. Made in the USA. What's not to love?

The last 2 bags of food I have bought were not the original food. One bag also gave my dog dirrehea, it took her a week to get over it. I bought another bag from a different store and it was perfect. I can tell by the smell and apperence it was not the same food. Something is going on where it is produced, Someone needs to look into this matter.

I have a 6 year old JRT who was becoming very overweight. i tried legit every food and every exercise nothing was working. untl i bought this food, she's so muscular and strong and just healthy, my vet said she looks amazing!

I decided to try this product by chance (and reputation) and I have to say WOW. 1) my dog had bowel issues and wasn't regular. Solved. 2) she also had very bad breath. Solved. 3) the energy level of both my dogs is through the roof, which is proof that the food makes them feel great. 4) I've noticed a shine on both of their coats that they've never had before. I never really had so many noticable benefits from a dog food and I have become a loyal customer for life because of these factors.

For 5 years I have been trying several dog foods. I have 5 dogs. 4 of which are Italian Greyhounds. One of the Italian Greyhounds has had a weight issue ever since he was fixed. He had problems with his no. 2's for these past 5 years...always straining while he went. Finally I tried Hill's Perfect Weight and remarkably he has had normal no. 2's. It is amazing!!! After so many dog foods this formula works like a gem for my dog. Also, he and the other dogs have lost some weight as well with Hill's Perfect Weight. I am truly impressed. All 5 dogs love the Perfect Weight brand as well.

My miniature dachshund has been eating this for almost two months and the vet told us today he's already lost 2lbs! Our previous dog food had unfortunately caused too much weight gain and my dog is a very picky eater, so it took trying several kinds before we found this that he seems to really enjoy. I'm definitely a happy dog mom knowing that he's losing the weight he needs to and I don't have to worry about whether or not he'll actually eat his food every day anymore!

My dachshund is 14 pounds overweight. We have used it for the past month and he went to vet today for his bordetella. He lost 7 pounds!

Our 10 year old male Shih Tzu had been difficult to feed once the puppy food was gone. So we have used Science Diet at the suggestion of his favorite doctor (vet). The Senior Food is his favorite (maybe because it has a strong "smell"). Thanks for making good food all these years!.

Mickey farts constantly while on this food. Holy moly. He poops 10+ times a day and makes the entire house smell like rotting eggs. He loves it, but he also loves garbage, so I can't tell. He's lost weight on it, though. Can't run around too much since he's an old man with arthritis *and* asthma (since he was younger)

How could you not love the VELCRO closure and yes it does still keep the food very, very fresh!

Will not feed my dog anything else.She has more energy and looks better then she ever had.

My cockapoo has had some serious systemic joint problems for the last 3 years. He was a rescue we have estimated his age to be about 11 years. We've had him 7 years. He was to the point of constantly holding his right rear leg up to avoid the pain when walking. He was on pain meds and anti- inflammatories as well as phycox. I started him on this food in February this year. I noticed in April he was putting weight back on that leg after 3 years. He now walks on all four legs and does not favor that rear leg any longer. The only changes the past few months was his food. ( I previously fed them Ideal Balance) I am more than pleased with the results of the nutrition in this food, and what it has done for my dog!

my dog, yorkie/chihuahua, 9 yrs old, eats this food with or without can food added. First time she has eaten a weight loss dry food, and i have tried many brands (picky eater, especially when it comes to weight loss food) She is only about a lb overweight. So glad i decided to try it.

This food has balanced the weight of my 2 chihuahuas. The 3rd will be eating it soon as he is less than a year old and still eats Science small breed puppy (he has been neutered and has gained weight). They love the taste. I think it also allows them to have a little more food without gaining excess weight. My Vet always comments on how stable and perfect their weight is (he sees a lot of overweight small breed dogs). My dogs are healthy and happy on this food. I have recommended it to friends and family with overweight dogs.

My dog got sick a couple of years ago and had a few overnight stays at the vet. This is where I was introduced to the brand Science Diet. He loves it! I am so pleased with his continued good health and I do feel eating a nutritious dog food like Science Diet has certainly played a role in it.

I was very surprised when my most picky dachshund actually loves this food! He's been losing weight and I actually see a change in his demeanour! Thanks Hills for creating a food that my babies love!!

Love every thing but the non recyclable packaging.

I have a small rescue that caters to senior dogs. I like the bite size for those with few or no teeth. I just wished the Hills Science Diet donations to rescues and shelters would include this food selection. What a difference it would make for us.

Have fed my dogs for a few years with Active Longevity since they are older now and they eat it right up. Price is right too. Thanks.

I bought this a month ago. Our 1yr Chihuahua/ Terrier mix has joint issues that started at 9mo. Supplements upset her stomach. This has done wonders for the poor puppy's hips!

All three of my dogs LOVE it!! It's good to know they really enjoy their food.

It's I bit more then most but it's worth the money and I'm not saying a lot probably for Baltimore maybe three bucks more something to that effect but the whole thing of it is is this is better food than the cheaper Brands that's the reason why I will pay a little more for this food his coats nice I had one bad experience he was allergic to one of the foods that I had bought him in a pet store was nice enough to give me my food back and replace it with something else but no I can't complain on on this my dog really likes his food. Thanks for the coupons Hill's this will help me out an awful lot I don't have a lot of money so this this would be a godsend thank you so much
