Excellent for sensitive stomachs!
VERIFIED PURCHASER

My dog has the most sensitive stomach and after several brands this one does what it promises. She gobbles it down and bonus for the salmonโ€ฆher coat is so shiny that people (and her vet & groomer) often comment on her pretty coat.

Lack of Consistency
VERIFIED PURCHASER

As of late this dog food texture has been either too sticky (like peanut butter) or dry and flaky. making it very dry for them to eat. Hoping the recipe goes back to the original texture.

Healthy Indulgence

Like others, my dog loves to have some soft food mixed in with his kibble. I'm so happy that Hill's makes soft food to complement the specialty hard food for various conditions. Brinkley always cleans his bowl when I combine this with the kibble version of Sensitve Stomach & Skin. He hasn't had a bit of stomach trouble since he's been eating Hill's, and he seems to have more energy, as well!

Q
Never stray again

I wrote this basically same review for the dry version of the Sensitive Stomach & Skin food because both the dry and canned versions are amazing. I originally purchased the foods just after rescuing my dog because he had skin allergies and tummy upset that seemed to be caused by his diet. His symptoms cleared up, he tolerated the food very well and seemed to love the taste. Unfortunately, I allowed other dog parents convince me to purchase some of the boutique grain-free brands because they were supposedly better for him. I tried several and he did not tolerate any of them very well at all, often getting diarrhea and gas. We are now back to this food and we both couldn't be happier.

My dog loves it

I have a Chihuahua. A small one at that. She does not eat a whole can of this food in one sitting. So it has to be stored in the fridge. Takes her at least 4 days to eat it. By the 3rd day she wants to turn her nose up at it. But eats it anyway. I have to put it in the microwave to get the chill off. It would be GREAT, if this could be canned in a small can. For those pet owners who have small dogs with senitive tummy's and skin issues.

Great for sensitive tummies....and i like the fact that it's not sopping wet and sticky. It's a pate formulation..... I like it much better. It doesn't stink either, another pet peeve of mine concerning canned dog dog. I hope they never change or discontinue this formula. My boys love it and I will feed it as long as it's made.

Wish I found it sooner.
VERIFIED PURCHASER

I got Marley at a shelter and he had loose stool from the begining. I tried everything: probiotics, digestive enzymes, pumpkin, boiled chicken and white rice, switching protiens, raw food.. if you can name it I tried it. I had given up when I came upon a great review for Hill's science diet. I gave it a shot since my pet store carried it and I was amazed with the results. For the first time since I got him, Marley had formed stool. Not only that, he loved it even though he is a very picky eater. Super recommend this product.

I have two small breed dogs that are picky eaters. I've tried lots of brands but this is the best that I have found and my dogs love it. They lick the bowl. It also is low odor, no bad scent.
