My dog is Diabetic and needs to eat this food but it has become extremely inconsistent. One day it is very soupy the next its almost pate. Paying a premium for this dog food id like to see more consistency.

Our Lab SMOKEY, eats the weight management variety of your dry dog food. When we can find it in our area. Pet depot carried it most of the time until our last four visits and they didn't have it. Sometimes we can find it at Tractor Supply in Cullman County Alabama and Sometimes we find it at T Supply in Blount County AL. The food is great for SMOKEY but sometimes it is a hassle to purchase it locally.

This new case of w/d is very watery and doesn't have as many chunks of meat as it has in the past. More like chicken soup. I'm glad I'm not feeding only this product to my dog.
by Disappointed on 05/20/2022
Found out in March 2021, my dog diagnosed as a diabetic. We started feeding her Hill Science food for diabetic dogs. I checked around for prices and PetCareRx was the cheapest. You get free shipping and fast shipping.
by Gracies mom on 01/02/2022
Finnegan loves this food and it's hard to find food for a diabetic dog. My only problem is some of the batches are very runny whereas others are more meaty. I wish they were more meaty on a consistent level.
by Nancy on 09/09/2021
This is not as dense of a dog food since the recipe has been changed. It is too mushy and my dog is having a hard time eating it.
by Donna on 08/17/2020
Our 10 year old Labrador eats both the dry and wet version of this food. He has Diabetes, and Pancreatitis. When he is well he will eats this completely, but when he is not feeling well we have to use other food, as this is quite bland. It is very expensive, costing us over $100 a month for one dog, just for the canned food! If you add the dry food it is over $300 per month for 1 dog. One question we have is why these cans don't have ring pulls to open them, you need to use a can opener. All the other Hills Science Diet cans have the ring pull!
by Enigma01 on 02/27/2020
Hills decided to change their recipe.... not a good choice. Animals who were reliant upon this food are now suffering
by Cass on 10/23/2019
Bought several cans, they have a black ring on the inside of the cans. Took back to the Vet for refund. The cans expire in 2021.
by Mazie on 09/09/2019
My canine son was recently diagnosed with diabetes and prescribed Hill's w/d. He's eaten Hill's all of his 13 years so I thought he would enjoy the chicken stew. He seems to have mixed feelings about it, though, and walks away some times after sniffing it. He'll return shortly to eat, but he always leaves the peas and carrots in the bowl. I'm going to try the non-stew version next time and hope it suits him better.
by WalksWithCats on 08/12/2018
My little dog absolutely loves it!! It even smells good to me!! It looks good too and I believe it is helping him. It makes him happy to have something yummy to eat. I'm the same way!!
by Sammy's mom on 05/10/2018
You have changed the contents of the w/d dog food cans. Now I have to poor off about 1/4 of the can of liquid before finding product. Shame on you!!! As if this wasn't expensive enough for a diabetic dog, now we don't even get a full can of product any more. Shame!!!! Rip off!!!!!
by none on 04/14/2018
I would have given this food 5 stars based on the first case I got from the vet. I bought another case and the food looks totally different not to mention its at least 1/3 liquid. This is not gravy it's colored water. My dog still eats it but I feel the quality as well as the quantity are poor now. I will try and find a different food for my dog. I do not feel it's worth the money to pay for a partial can of food. Why on earth would you change a product that was good to begin with.
by Sharon on 03/07/2018
My dogs have been eating this food for a few years now and they just love it. I wouldn't give them any other brand of food.
by ione on 09/22/2017
My dog Sam absolutely loves this food! He was sort of a picky eater but I do not have to beg, cajole, or hand feed him any more. He is right there ready to eat and licks the bowl clean every time. His sister Lacy loves it too! It is so nice to watch them both enjoy their meals! Thanks so much Prescription Diet people, it is the favorite food around my house.
by Abbyjo2001 on 09/06/2017
Two of my dogs put on weight very easily. They are on W/D dry. They were getting bored with it. Now I put a tablespoon of the W/D stew on it and they come a running to eat. They love it. Now we both enjoy meals. They don't put the weight on which keeps me happy and they are enjoying their food again. Thank You.
by Critter RN on 04/21/2017
Just bought this w/d to try as my vet recommended it for my dog well being.
by Rory44 on 04/18/2017
We can only buy from the vet which increases the cost because they take their cut and being a senior it puts a strain on our budget. Corn is not a costly ingredient so being able to buy direct should save but since it is by prescription only that won't happen
by Bill 73 on 04/03/2017
Dexter got his bark back! Yesterday my 13 year old Puggle had dental surgery and when we were at the vet's office we were given a sample of Hill Perscription Diet w/d Canine Vegetable and Chicken Stew. When we got home my boy was unable to bark and could only whine and go to his cupboard to indicate his need.. Glad to say, that today after he tried your sample...Dexter got his bark back! He definately wanted more. Thank you!
by MomDex on 03/30/2017
You guys changed from this to this, and the consistency is way different and i go through it way quicker now.

I've been using this product for years, but have noticed a change in the product lately. It seems softer and has added black spots...not sure I like this.
by SirS on 12/10/2016
The dog food is not worth the price you have to pay especially when you are on a fixed income.
by Dottee on 07/16/2016
I thought I might have an issue with my dog's WD food but Hill's support quickly expelled my concerns and I'm very happy for their quick response. Our pets are family.

I started using w/d when Winnie had a blood test that needed adjusting. To our surprise she loved the taste and started to eat better than she has ever before. I will keep her on this food forever. I thank the people at Hills for making a great tasting food. Winnie looks forward to eating everyday/

by TSHea on 06/29/2016
My Dogs loves the food. But I feel it is very expensive.
by Tilly on 12/14/2015
My dog likes the new chicken stew. I have a problem with the amount in the can. Each can has a lot of liquid. When I drain off the liquid I really only get 3/4 of a can of food.
by proberts on 12/08/2015
We love the sample size, but the large size would not be beneficial to us as we mix a small can and dry food with her meal. This size does not benefit us. The sample size is perfect. Let us know if you will make this product available in the smaller container. Thank you!
by flicker142 on 10/31/2015
My pet likes the food for a certain amount of time then he tires of it. I feel this food needs more moisture. Clumps when trying to break it up. Other than that it is great for my pet.
by deew on 10/07/2015
Both of my dogs have had problems so this is the only thing that they can eat. Use both wet and dry. They seem to enjoy it and I'm just hoping it keeps them healthy. Please put out more coupons, they are such a big help, as both my husband and myself are on disability any help means a lot.
by tiakick on 10/07/2015
I have found during the past year using the product that the texture changes between cans. I have found cans that are soupy in texture. When they are that way the dog will not eat it. Need more quality control.
by Rippdog on 10/05/2015
Sometimes she gobbles it down and sometimes turns her nose up. Feel that its expensive but love when u have coupons!
by dietdog on 10/04/2015
My Katie is 13 years old and has developed gastrointestinal problems. This product was prescribed by my vet. Since she has been eating this she does not throw-up. She won't eat anything else!! She loves the taste!!!
by Charley1605 on 09/29/2015
OUR DOG HAD BEEN EATING PRESCRIPTION DRY FOOD FOR OVER A YEAR, AND WHEN WE LEARNED ABOUT THE VEGETABLE AND CHICKEN STEW, WE DECIDED TO ADD IT ALONG WITH THE DRY KIBBLE TO ENCOURAGE BETTER EATING HABITS. OUR DOG WELCOMES THE ADDITION WITH ITS TASTE AND TEXTURE AND NOW GOBBLES UP HIS MEALS. HIS COAT IS SHINY, AND HE IS MORE VIGOROUS IN HIS ELDER YEARS WITH THIS NUTRITIONAL COMBINATION IN HIS DAILY DIET.
by DACHSIE1 on 09/24/2015
While searching for our dogs regular WD wet food we noticed the "STEW" and decided to try it. Well, our dog just loved it and it is now a regular into her diet.
by jimison47 on 09/23/2015
I've been using w/d for three weeks, but my dog has days when she just puts her nose up at it and won't eat it; so the benefits (which are excellent - firm stools, glucose levels) start slipping away within about 24 hours. I don't know if w/d could be made in a different flavor or two that would help with those non-eating days - and still maintain it's effectiveness; but that would be my only suggestion for a greater product. For us, w/d has been a life saver - literally. Thanks for making a product that works so well.
by Randy2U on 09/21/2015
I have recommended this to a friend on FB and she is now using it for her pup (thru her veterinarian). My biggest complaint is that the QC needs to improve. I really dislike opening cans to find it is more "gravy" than veggies and chicken especially at the price I pay. Some cans are packed with the good stuff, too many have not been.
by trollet on 09/18/2015
I have 2 dogs on the prescrlption diet both like it. thanks for the coupon. also use wd dry and wd treats they all help keep their weigh in control
by jackson7 on 09/14/2015
Our dog (or we would have to say our family member) because that is what our little Lucy is. Lucy only weighs five pounds and she is thirteen years old. With this food she does not have the upset stomach or bile upchuck as she had in the past when she was of the younger age. We would be of the opinion this product has increased her life span and improved her health condition.
by Lucy13 on 09/10/2015
My dog can not tolerate any fat in his food, and this product is the best and it agrees with him, and he can't wait to eat it each day, as he likes the flavor very much.
by Nuke31 on 09/06/2015
Our dog, Rusty, had to start eating W/D or I/D about six months ago. We were concerned that he wouldn't eat it but he just loves this food (wet in can#. Hills Prescription Diet has really made a difference. I wish that it would come in biscuits (treat) form. It is more expensive than his prior dog food....but it is worth it. I would like to see coupons or discounts offered to help with the cost.
by BarbaraV on 08/17/2015
My Cockapoo LOVES this dog food. I have tried some of the other types of W/D with her and she hasn't taken to them well. She will eat this without hesitation.

I wish that this product cost less. My dog has been on this product for several years. It and a persciption pill she takes has keep her from developing stones. She has been operated on twice for this. I have printed a coupon on your website and now it won't allow me to print anymore. Hoping that you will eventually allow me to print more. thank you.
by maggiegirl on 10/20/2014
I give my dog both WD dry and WD wet cans. She is very happy when it is time to eat. This is a very good product in helping my dog stay healthy.
by Rick7 on 10/18/2014
Wish it was a little easier to break up. Stickes to the spoon.
by mholtz68 on 10/14/2014
I like the fact I can once again open the can with a can opener instead the pull top. I could not get the food out of the pull top in one piece, had to dip it out with a spoon. Thanks for for the can opener type again..
by Merritt on 10/13/2014
This is the only food that my dog can eat. I think more coupons could be available since this is all we buy.
by Maggie6701 on 10/08/2014
We have no choice but to purchase this and feed it to our pug. We get the occasional coupon but still very expensive and NEVER on sale at the store.
by SCPUGLOVER on 10/08/2014
easy open lids are bad for us since the food must be cut into quarters. Easy open will not let food come out in one piece. Put can opener lid back on please. Thanks
by gasman on 10/05/2014
We have two dogs. Both of them go crazy when they see us take this out of the pantry. They woof it down and sit by the pantry begging for more! They prefer this over the dry food but I prefer to give them dry for their teeth health.
by BBTL on 10/04/2014
Of course, Honey doesn't have the most discriminating palate... My dog has been on this a couple of years now at the vet's sugestion, since she developed some trouble a while back. She eats it readily, but she eats most stuff readily. Her coat isn't as shiny as when she was on another food, but her tummy is no longer bald.
by vegomatic on 09/29/2014
My dog eats both wet and dry at each meal. He jumps while we are fixing it.
by sndrself on 09/26/2014
I love this product and so does my dog Eddie. He is over weight and has digestive problems. He is slowing losing the weight and I can see he is feeling better and has more energy.
by sara610 on 09/24/2014
Managing my dog's intestinal issues very well by using this food along with medication. I would like to see tab pull off can tops instead of can opener tops.
by Gods on 09/23/2014
My dog was full of bladder stones and had to have surgery to remove them so we have had to keep her on he W/D wet food to keep her from getting bladder stones again but also to help her lose weight. She has lost 5 pounds over a two year process we are almost to her goal. Slow and steady weight loss has been great for her. I have always believed in Science diet products.
by Cathm2 on 09/18/2014
low rating due to lack of consistent texture and moisture. Some times food will have texture of sand and other times it will be wet and sticky. Bottom line is that the food has helped our dog. PS cost is a bit pricey
by Bill1001 on 09/03/2014
We love the product, and our dogs do well with it. One major favor though, please stop making the pull top cans! With the "old school" cans, it is much easier to portion the food between the two dogs evenly. With the pull top cans, you can't do that because the lip on the top prevents you from removing the contents and then cutting it in half. Sounds silly I know, but it is a major time saver!
by Doxielove on 09/02/2014
it's great dog loves it. She can't wait to eat it.
by ppc1 on 09/01/2014
The bad part is it is so very sticky & it sticks to the bottom of the bowl. My dog really has a hard time eating it. I have to constantly use a utensil to scrape it off the bottom of the bowl so he can eat it. Then it sticks to the spoon or fork too.
by Sparkster on 08/30/2014
The old sealed cans were so much easier to use than the new "pop top" pull can lids. We could simply and easily remove the food from the old can much like removing cranberry sauce from its can. The food slid right out the old style can in one piece so we could slice off the amount we need. However, this new can is not easy at all. We have to dig and dig to get the food out and it comes out in pieces/chunks which we have to measure seperately where as before it was much simplier to slice it from one big piece than digging into the can. Please, convenicnce is not what it's cracked up to be. Give us the old style can back please! PS: This is the second survey you requested from me and the second time I mentioned the new style "dig it out" can.
by Mikeyd on 08/22/2014
We've used this product for several years now, and the dogs take to it as if it were a treat. The new pop top cans are a plus, but they miss the sound of the electric can opener as that was the "dinner bell".
by Boomerthefirst on 08/18/2014
I feed my dog both the canned (wet) and dry type of this food. My dog really loves this food, which is very helpful, because sometimes it was difficult to get him to eat before I started feeding him this food. I also use the dry food as "treats" and he is very happy with that.
by ginasmom on 08/16/2014
Lucy is a rescue Shih Tzu that we adopted 1 1/2 years ago. We approximate her age to be 8 years old. From Day One, she had been a very poor eater and it sometimes has been a struggle to get her to eat at all. OMG!! Since being recommended Hill's Prescription Diet, she is eating like never before. Lucy absolutely L-O-V-E-S it!! She loves it so much that she thinks her dry kibble version of this is a "treat". We also give her Hill's Prescription Treats on SPECIAL occasions.
by Renie40 on 08/08/2014
Our 14 year old female Dachshund has been on the W/D diet since 2011 and enjoys your wet and dry food very much. She is a lean 12 pounds, runs around like a loose wheel, and thinks she is 4 instead of 14 which is just fine with us. We attribute this in part to her excellent diet of your SUPERIOR foods. Unfortunately your new INFERIOR pop top on the 13 oz. W/D can is not enjoyable to us at all. As many other customers have already posted the 13 oz. pop top can is a bust and should be discontinued immediately. In my opinion this type of design has no place on anything other than a small flat "tuna fish" size type of can. For me to properly serve the correct portions easily I need your product to slide cleanly out of its13 oz. can in one unbroken piece so the portions can be sliced up accordingly. The pop top design does not allow this and it is a disaster when trying to empty its contents. Please discontinue using the pop top can for your 13 oz. W/D cans of food otherwise I will have to discontinue using it as I find it that inconvenient.
by Benhur2 on 08/04/2014
This gets my dog to start eating her dry food when I mix the two together. It's a good product as I have an older dog and need to keep her weight up.
by Soph134d on 07/30/2014
I wish you would improve the packaging. It is very difficult getting it out of the can. If the bottom were made the same as the top we could use a can opener at both ends and simply push the food out.
by Gandy on 07/21/2014
My dog is a finicky eater.......just won't just eat dry food. It is very important that she eats in the morning before I leave for work......so I do the dry food with about 1/2 cup of wet, this works every time because she likes the taste of the wet food.
by merryk on 07/09/2014
This product has worked very well for my small dog who tends to have weight issues. He has been on it for about a year and is doing well. However, I would like to comment on the new can with the flip-top new lid. I hate it. It is impossible to get the food out of the can without mangling the food, because the new can has an inside lip and the food does not slide out easily. Please go back to the old can!
by Carol88 on 06/23/2014
Our 6 year old English Bulldog was put on this food over 1 year ago due to Mega colon and a few other GI tract issues. She has also lost weight with regular exercise and the Prescription Diet W/D canned food. I am happy to say that Bonnie loves the taste and has not had any further issues. Thank you for a great product.
by BulldogDad on 06/16/2014
My toy poodle has been eating Hills Prescription Diet i/d low fat dog food for about 6 weeks. He loves the taste cleaning his bowl every meal. He is a picky eater but not with Hills Prescription Diet. He loves it! He has slimmed down over two pounds. He was over weight. He has more pep and gets around better. He is 10 years old. Great dog food.
by Ann47 on 06/15/2014
i do have one complaint i have very good luck with the new easy open cans but last time i went to purchase the vet only had the old cans and we were out so i went ahead and bought product but it is so dry and crumbly i have to add tons of water to even make it so my dog can eat it this is the second time we have got this type of food and i wonder what the problem could be. when the food is right my dog goes crazy over it can't get enough she loves it but getting kinda tired of getting the dried out stuff last time they said it probably got frozen it was back in the winter but now we are in june and same stuff ???????? hope we get it figured out it's the best dog food i have ever tried when it is right and my dog eats one can a day so i buy 30 or more cans a month kind of pricey but it has really helped with all her health problems got a great product here lets get it right
by johnc6 on 06/07/2014
I wish they had some other flavors in the wet dog food. I think eating the same food twice a day gets old & boring. The fiber in the food makes my dog have to go 3-4 times a day.
by Kerrie on 06/06/2014
WD is great for weight management and my dog digests is very well. I wish the food was more consistent in appearance & texture. In some cans the food is soft & moist, others very dry (making it difficult to swallow). I would be happier if there wasn't any corn in the product - although it is in miniscule amounts, due to another condition, my dog should not be eating corn, therefore I have to pick it out.
by CTyler on 05/27/2014
My dog loves this food, and it has helped with her digestion and stomach problems. I mix it with dry Science Diet to cut the cost, and she still likes it.
by Millie12 on 05/26/2014
I have tried other expensive brands but keep going back to wd- his digestive system keeps normal and he does not gain weight- thanks!!!
by benny on 05/23/2014
It is costly so i wish there were more coupons available.
by mommamason on 05/14/2014
Pull tops have to go as far as I am concerned. I LIke to slide food out and slice it to make treats Can not do that with these cans.
by Tenncountryboy on 05/09/2014
Jack, a silky terrier, has had stomach problems from day one. After many bouts of diarrhea and vomiting we gave him canned and dry w/d Canine Low Fat-Glucose Management-Gastrointestinal. He took to it and has been diarrhea and vomiting free for over a year. Our thanks to Hills.
by SilkyJack on 05/09/2014
I like the change to pulltop cans. It seem that the product is a bit softer with the old cans the product seems stiffer I could slide the product in the can and slice off a portion the latest can the productt will not slide in the can.
by seleen21 on 05/01/2014
Hello, while my dog does enjoy eating this, we find that one batch of cans to next has a very different texture. My dog eats the food really fast, so in an effort to deter her, we "smoosh" the food on a plate, so she has to go slower when she eats. Some of the cans however have a drier consistency and texture so it just crumbles, not really allowing us to spread the food around her plate to slow her down.
by Lety on 04/28/2014
Needed something to help Bella with weight loss. The vet recommended WD. I would cut it into small pieces and bake and give it to her in place of her other treats. She just loves it. So we decided to give it to her for dinner as well. Little bit pricey but worth it. Waiting to see some weight loss.
by Belu on 04/19/2014
I am disappointed with your can style to easy opening cans the problem is that the product does not come out of the can due to it has a smaller opening then the can opener style the product does not come out with out some effort by cutting the food into quarters to remove from the can
by lucy53 on 04/19/2014
i recently got two cases of wd with the flip top cans, not requiring a can opener.this is great especially in florida ,with our weather ,pls continue sending this type can if possible thank you for considering this.

My dog really likes this food. It seems to help with digestion.
by pc2004 on 04/13/2014
Of the prescription foods which my dog typically doesn't enjoy, he likes the taste of this one and eats it right up. This is great because he has so few options based upon his medical needs. I'm so grateful for this option!
by AandAS on 04/09/2014
A few years ago, when contaminated food from China killed animals that consumed it, it was with absolute relief that I was continuing to feed my West Highland terriers Hill's WD. You produce a quality product that is an industry standard. I thank you and Maj. Wolf and Mr. Puck thank you for long and contented lives.
by Westy545 on 04/04/2014
The product seems to work as intended. My dog loves the taste. However, the product is expensive and can only be obtained with a prescription.
by TimLynn97 on 03/24/2014
My dog was prescribed this food by our trusted vet for a specific medical issue. It has done it's job with the desired results; I will keep her on this diet for ongoing good health. There are many side benefits including less gastrointestinal problems, better absorbsion, and for the first time solid bowel movements. I had tried literally at least 30 "premium" foods in the past with results that cannot compare with this food. My only negative would be that it can only be purchased at the vets office which is not always convenient. It would be nice if it were available by mail order with a written prescription.
by lucky9484 on 03/03/2014
Zeke, our one golden was ill with diarrhea. Nothing worked until the vet prescribed the w/d canned. He could not eat it fast enough. The best part is it worked on his issue. He is fine now thanks to the w/d.
by goldensmom on 02/19/2014
This is the only food I can give my dog -- eats every bit of it - both wet and dry! Also loves the treats!
by Annie77 on 02/07/2014
I am happy with the results of what the w/d has done for my pet
by hondas05 on 01/29/2014
I was unsure at first if Saltie Maghee would even eat the food knowing how spoiled she is. But she went right for it. She even enjoys the w/d dry. We use that for our lunch and any "treats" she may get during the day..She has returned to my happy little schnauzer once again. Thank you for having this diet available for our special babies...

My dog had issues after Ghiardia in the spring.. Our vet recommended WD and it has solved the problem. My dog begs now to be fed. She LOVES WD.

After putting my dog on w/d I noticed a marked improvement in his health and attitude. Great product.

My pet has a pancreas problem and must use this product as her food source. I think she gets a little jealous because my other pet isn't required to eat the same food...but she has adjusted. She is 9 years old and is my "child" much loved by myself and my neighbors and because of her diet, I expect her to have a long life.

Product controls the tender tummies and the dogs love the taste. Never a struggle to get them to eat at meal times.

We feared that our 9-year-old Keeshond was heading downhill. She is a completely younger dog after having been on this food for a while. 3 cans of wet w/d every 2 days.

My 13 year old rescue schnauzer has been diagnozed with a life threatening illness which required us to put her on your W/D product line. She needed to be on a strict diet and maintained portion control. Immediately I noticed her energy level picked up and she became very spry for a 13 year old dog. Two weeks along her coat became noticably shinny with less shedding. Her appetite continues to be very good but we are noticing a toner body because she is more active. We have changed our other three dogs over to Science Products. True Believers!

Although sacrifices have been made, we purchase about 5 cases and usually 25 pounds of dry food each month for our 70# mixed breed dog due to a medical necessity. She is like one of the children and we love her very much, without Prescription WD, we probably wouldn't have her any longer. Thank You.

My dog was very sick and the vet prescribed this food. Thank goodness my dog is doing great now and I plan on keeping him on this food. He loves it!

Product is very good in helping manage my senior dogs blood sugar but it is very expensive. I tried to print off a coupon for October but the site said I had already used my limit. I've only printed coupons off two times before. I think I should be able to use a coupon a month since the price of the food is so expensive

My vet recommended this specific type of food for my aged dog. He seems to enjoy this food and he has been on this diet for over a year. It is a dense and filling part of his daily diet, adding the corresponding dry food.

When you have a very sick dog, you do what you can and have to so they can get better. This product seems to agree with her and she likes the taste.

Maggie has lost a few pounds and now is weight stable. I add just a couple of tablespoons of this wet food to the dry w/d. She goggles it right down!

Our cocker spaniel has been on this food since she was a year old due to stomach issues. Not only has she done well with it, she's also maintained her healthy weight of 20 pounds! She still looks great at 11 years old.

I think, I may have the most fussy eater on the planet. But the transition went smoothly after the surgery when I guess he realize and I realize this it. We started a new relationship with your company. We are happy to be part of the family.

My vet prescribed w/d for my bichon when she was 15 months old. Since then, she has barked every time I fix her a meal. She is now 11 and still gets very excited when it is time to eat her w/d. She has taught herself to lick her lips so her anticipation has become much quieter when I ask her to "get your lips ready". My ears say "Thank you"!

We didn't know our baby was very sick until the vet got back his labs. She called immediately that morning & said how sick he really was & that we had to start on this food. We were like oh no, he was a picky eater & we thought for sure he wouldn't like it. He doesn't like it, he loves it. He'll only eat canned though. The dry is too hard for him & we tried crunching it up, putting water on it, nothing helped. He's always ready for his meals & he's as healthy as he can be. Thanks for producing this food or who knows what would have happened. He's been eating this for a few years now.
