Samsung Makes $31,000 Dream Doghouse

Where's your pooch's favorite place to sleep? Do they cozy up with you in your bed? Do they make themselves comfortable on the sofa? Do they have a plush bed? Do they have a $31,000 multi-room, luxurious pad with an entertainment area? Well they soon might.Samsung Electronics is set to unveil a new Dream Doghouse for pampered pooches at Crufts in Birmingham, U.K., between March 5 and 8, according to CNBC. The luxury pad has a price tag of 20,000 pounds, or just under $31,000, although it's not on sale yet. However, one Dream Doghouse will be given away as a prize by Samsung and it will be on display at the British dog show, which is one of the world's largest pet expos.

What's inside the Dream Doghouse? 

The pooch palace has everything that a dog would need and much more. It's split into three areas: a sleeping area, an artificial turf outdoor section, and a dining and recreation room.Samsung surveyed about 1,500 dog owners online to figure out which amenities and features the Dream Doghouse should include. The company installed some of the most popular requests in this canine castle, including a treadmill. The Dream Doghouse also includes a Samsung tablet, a spa area, a snack dispenser, room for family pictures, and a call bell, CNBC explained."With the Samsung Dream Doghouse, we wanted to reflect the nation's growing trend for using technology," president of Samsung Electronics U.K. and Ireland Andy Griffiths said in a statement. "From dogs who have social media profiles to owners who use video calling to check on their pet while away, technology is fast becoming an integral part of everyday life. The Samsung Dream Doghouse looks sleek and modern, featuring the kind of tech the discerning dog of the future will need."The Dream Doghouse is made of high-quality materials, and nearly anywhere the dog sits will be plush and pillow lined. The luxury dog house is designed to be a high-end, high-tech living space for high-class pooches.
