Puppies: From 3 - 5 weeks of age, moisten food and feed frequently. From 6 weeks of age, feed the suggested amount in 3 meals per day until 6 months of age, then twice daily.

Pregnant Bitches: During pregnancy, offer 50% more than the amount shown for puppies over 12 months of age.

Lactating Bitches: Offer at least 2 - 3 times the amount shown for puppies over 12 months of age.

Transition Instructions

If feeding Nutro Dog Food for the first time or changing formulas, we suggest you blend increasing amounts of the new formula with your old dog food for 6 days.

  • Days 1 - 2: 25% Nutro/75% Old Formula
  • Days 3 - 4: 50% Nutro/50% Old Formula
  • Days 5 - 6: 75% Nutro/25% Old Formula
  • Days 7+: 100% Nutro
