My dog was diagnosed with Panus last year. The steroid in this ointment is available by itself in a prescription but is outrageously expensive by itself. My vet prescribed this ointment that includes the antibiotic properties because it is cheaper. My dog will be on this medication for life as Panus is an autoimmune response to UV light that causes thickening of the cornea. Because of where we live, we are able to wean him off the medication for three months out of the year. Because of the frequency of doses during the spring/summer/fall months, we go through a vial in just under a week. I was spending between $80 and $100 for 4 tubes at my vet's office every month. Then I found PetCareRX, which was advertised by my vet's office while I was on hold calling in a refill. $50 a year added to $48 (and free shipping) a month for a needed medication was a no-brainer! The savings on each vial of ointment for 9 months of the year pays for the annual fee several times over. In 2 months I have saved what was spent on membership to receive the discount. Now if PetCareRx could just get faster shipping when paying with PayPal, I would be thrilled.

I'm happy to find PetRx and the ease of ordering prescription medications for my pet. PetRx handled the prescription renewal and shipped the ointment in days. The branded product is exactly the same as the one provided by my vet, at a fraction of the cost. I thank you and my chihuahua thanks you for helping improve her health and beauty.

Eye ointment prices have increased. The same ointment above at my vets office now costs ALOT MORE than the listed price here. My dog has the same thing allergies with itchy e1. Lucky for me they ok'd this RX

I buy the same product from the vet for $16.95. I have a 2 year old yellow lab that has allergies and has very itchy e1 and have been buying this product for some time. Never paid $28.99... These sites are supposed to be cheaper than the vets prices.
