PetCareRx Tell A Friend Program Terms and Conditions
In addition to the Friendbuy Privacy Policy, the PetCareRx Terms of Use and the PetCareRx Privacy Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference, listed below are other specific terms and conditions by PetCareRx that relate to the PetCareRx Tell A Friend Program.
  1. A “Qualified Referral” is defined as the first product purchase made at the www.PetCareRx.com site (the "Site") by a person (a "Referred Customer") who arrives at the Site via another person's Refer-a-Friend Program link ("Personal Link"). Only one Qualified Referral can be earned for each Referred Customer. Any additional or subsequent purchases made by a Referred Customer using the Personal Link at the Site will not be Qualified Referrals. The total cost including shipping of the referred order must be greater than $35.00 for the referrer to receive a $10.00 account credit in PetCareRx Points. This offer shall not be redeemable for cash. Excludes prescriptions, electronic services and any other non-product services or upgrades. The Referred Customer will receive $10 off their first order over $35.00 and free shipping on any order over $35.00. This offer does not apply to subsequent orders.
  2. Personal Links will be issued only to individuals. An individual must be registered at the Site to be issued a Personal Link, but the individual does not have to have made a purchase from the Site.
  3. The individual who was issued a Personal Link by PetCareRx will be considered to be the "Referring Customer" for all Qualified Referrals made using that Personal Link, regardless of whether a Referred Customer obtained the Personal Link directly from the Referring Customer or from another source.
  4. For each shipped Qualified Referral you will earn a $10.00 credit in PetCareRx Points. There is no maximum number of Qualified Referrals allowed. Orders canceled by the Referred Customer prior to shipment do not qualify as a Qualified Referral.
  5. Rewards that are not redeemed will expire after 6 months from the date when they were earned. The Tell A Friend Program cannot be used for business gifting purposes or lead generation, or for any other commercial purpose, as determined by PetCareRx in its sole and absolute discretion.
  6. Rewards credits will be payable in $10.00 increments. You may redeem your rewards credit in increments. Check your PetCareRx Refer-A-Friend account for details.
  7. Unless otherwise specifically stated by PetCareRx, a Referred Customer may use any discounts or promotions associated with the Personal Link only for the Referred Customer's initial purchase transaction.
  8. If a Referring Customer provides a Personal Link to another person by email, the email must be created and distributed in a personal manner that is appropriate and customary for communications with friends and family members. Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other promotion of a Personal Link in a manner that would constitute or appear to constitute unsolicited commercial email or "spam" under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of the Referring Customer's account and deactivation of the Personal Link. You shall be liable for your use of the Personal Link, and shall indemnify PetCareRx for any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions.
  9. PetCareRx Inc. reserves the right to cancel the Refer-a-Friend Program or to change these terms and conditions at any time in its sole discretion.
  10. Terms and Conditions. All information collected from a user in a Tell A Friend Program shall be subject to the PetCareRx Privacy Policy, available at http://www.PetCareRx.com/ and the Friendbuy’s Privacy Terms, available at http://www.friendbuy.com/privacy/. With respect to the Tell A Friend Program, in the event of a conflict between the terms of the PetCareRx Terms of Use and these Tell A Friend Terms, these Tell A Friend Terms shall control. With respect to the Tell A Friend Program, in the event of a conflict between the PetCareRx Privacy Policy and the Friendbuy Privacy Policy, the Friendbuy Privacy Policy shall control.
  11. PetCareRx expressly reserves the right to close the account(s) of any referring customer and/or friend, and to request proper payment if the referrer and/or friend attempts to use the Tell A Friend Program in a questionable manner or referral link in breach of these Terms and Conditions or in violation of any law, statute or governmental regulation.
  12. PetCareRx will post rewards once a month, and does not guarantee receipt of any rewards.
  13. The referrer or friend who redeems a reward is responsible for all tax liability resulting from awards.
  14. Participation in the Refer A Friend Program may require users to submit personal information about themselves and their friends, such as name and e-mail address. By participating in the Refer A Friend Program, users agree to receive communications from PetCareRx and/or from partners that operate and maintain the Tell A Friend Program, with regards to participation in the Tell A Friend Program.
