This product is NOT available at any of numerous cat food chains. Why? I do not need the Huge 15 lbs. bag for a one cat family.

My cats loved it
by The cat lady on 10/21/2021
My 14 yr old fluffy cat has now got her severe constipation & fur balls overcome. She also has arthritis being medicated. Plus has been overweight. Isn't keen on this food, but adjusted to eating it as she hasn't any choice. The positive side is that I can measure this food over the day yet leave it out for when she prefers to eat it, mostly at night, without her gobbling it up too rapidly. We are even progressing with the gradual weight loss desired. She no longer gets cystitis from stress from severe constipation pain, or discomfort from laxatives nor toilets outside her litter box from distress. Most cats with previously strong appetite will adjust to this food regardless of any initial protest. Sometimes tough love is required. Her short haired healthy skinny sister is a one of the rare exceptions in resistance to this product remaining on the Hills metabolic diet. She was risking exceeding stress to push this product that's not required for her.

Kibbles way too big for cats, especially 7+.
by Casey on 02/07/2021
I bought this bag of food for my very picky 14 year old indoor cat and he just loves it. I fed him this indoor formula dry and the Science Diet cans. A very happy and healthy cat.
by Greg the runner on 10/20/2020
For over 30 years we have used Science Diet for our Cats and Dogs. Our current cat was eating Science Diet Indoor cat food for over 7 years. I noticed they changed the formula and size of the Kibbles when I bought the latest bag. Our cat started to throw up more frequently about 1/2 way through the bag. I thought there might be something wrong with the bag so I bought a new bag. He continued to throw up and became lethargic. He refused to eat the food even when we left it out (he normally had been waiting at his food bowl for his food). I switched his food to another brand and he perked right up. I think there is something wrong with this new food and won't be buying it again. This is really sad because our vet used to say that our cats were a living ad for Science Diet because they all lived long lives ( some as long as 21 years).
by MrPB on 11/26/2019
My cats did wonderful with the egg and rice recipe. The new formula is much larger and they hate it. The smaller pieces were perfect and they all loved it. Can you PLEASE bring back the old formula and have two varieties? I would pay double at this point per bag..triple!
by Lesliexo on 06/18/2019
I see a lot of people complaining about the big kibble but my cats love the size. So I guess it really depends on the cat. One of my cats will actually try to eat my dog's kibble which is huge. Now that I found big cat kibble, he is in seventh heaven! My other cat loves it too. But I will admit that the reason I tried this cat food is because a friend gave it to me because her cat didn't like the size. So again, depends on the cat! I WILL be buying it from now on though.
by Pippo on 04/14/2019
I have been feeding my cats Science Diet for over 20 years. I have been feeding my present cats Science Diet 7+ Indoor for about 5 years. I just opened the bag I bought last night and noticed immediately that it has a different smell than it used to have. Actually it smells odd and stinks. The pieces look a little smaller and a little darker. It appears to have little black specks on it. I understand the smaller pieces. That is fine, but they changed something about the actual food or it would not smell like that which is different than before.
by Sway on 04/09/2019
My cat is a VERY picky eater but loves this food. He also had very dry and flaky skin but after I started him on this it has cleared up!
by Cat lover on 09/02/2018
I have bought other Science Diet foods for my cats that were fine, but decided to try the Indoor version... they literally stopped eating! They tried to eat it at first... but soon I noticed I did not need to fill their dishes and they weren't acting normal. One of my indoor cats is older but the other is only 5 and neither of them have been eating it. I am very disappointed that I bought a bag a food that is so inconsistent in size with the other foods by the same company. Hoping our other outside cats will eat it so at least it won't be wasted!
by Shannon on 02/02/2018
My youngest cat really needs to lose weight and this food seems to be doing the trick! Both cats seem to enjoy the taste. My only wish is that the kibble pieces were a little smaller. It did take some time for the cats to adjust. The older cat has some bad teeth so smaller kibble is easier for him to chew.
by satinlady on 01/25/2017
My Tabbey is 8 years eating Science Diet. As she has gotten older, the Adult 7+ Indoor Dry is hard on her teeth chewing. Smaller pieces for the older cat would be ideal. Enough to still break down with her teeth.
by Tabbey Road on 11/05/2016
Our cat, a 14-lb basic domestic short hair, eats different varieties of Hills dry foods. When she starts to lose interest in one, we'll rotate in another until she starts to lose interest in that, at which point we rotate in another, and so on. Tonight I brought home a bag of the Adult 7+ dry food. Upon opening it, my first thought was that it must be mis-bagged dog food based on the kibble size. I gave her some anyway to see if she could eat it. She could not. She was able to chip a piece off of one after a minute or so but finally gave up and walked away. I'm taking it back to the store right now for a refund. Even after reading a couple of comments that mention the large kibble, it is inconceivable to me that the stuff in the bag I brought home is meant for a cat. I don't think my old Maine Coon - a very large, very strong cat - would have been able to handle this stuff.
by mseffe63 on 09/22/2016
My cats have eaten Science Diet for 7 years and they're as healthy as can be. I made the mistake of trying to switch to an expensive high protein food which caused one to have terrible problems. The other had just stopped eating. I switched back to the Indoor formula and they're enthusiastic about their food again and the problems have disappeared. The food is just balanced well and just perfect. Here, have some cat lady photos...
by Demi_Marie on 08/07/2016
My male cat is 15 years old and has always ate Hills Science Diet. He's not much different today than he was when he was a kitten except he's a lot more like me about not suffering fools willingly.
by danz on 03/14/2016
I had switched to Science Diet indoor & Adult 7+ indoor, a few years ago when the food they were eating had a recall. Had to be dry food and all 3 of my cats had to like it, especially Merlin my most finicky eater. Potter is 5, Merlin is 7 1/2, and we estimate Willow to be 10+ years old (found her in parking lot in 2006). They all love it, and their coats just glow in the sunlight. I was so glad to find a healthy and vet recommended quality cat food they all love. Thanks Melissa Silverman

My Name is Louise Our cat Jake just seems so much happier being on that food! He is a long 25lb cat. With a beautiful temperament. He had a urinary problem. We decided to change his cat food to Hills and you can tell how content he is...His tail is up high and it's sooo nice to see him look really happy!! His tail is up high and his number 2's are nice and firm. Thank you!!
by Louise1969 on 06/08/2015
We have tried them on other food , it was ok but when we had them try their Science Diet they really liked it a lot . We have had them on this for maybe 2 years , We seem to never find any coupons for your food ! We are seniors on a fixed budget and we want to keep them on your food . Thank's for the great food .
by Butterfly2005 on 11/28/2014
Again I can't say enough positive things about Science Diet, epecailly age defying, as that's all I feed my cat, he's loved it since he was 2, over the years I changed to the Age Defying or what ever was on the market for his age group. He's pushing 16 and in great health, what more can a guy ask for?
by zappercat on 10/13/2014
This is the first time I have had a just indoors cat. I am so happy that there is a product for just that. It is also reassuring that as she ages there are other choices in dry food that I can get without a prescription.
by Caregiver on 10/06/2014
Since using Hills Science cat food our cats are much healthier and stopped having urinary tract infections. Also they both have a good healthy weight.
by sharonaf on 09/29/2014
I have been using.Science Diet food since about 1995 and have always been satisfied with the qualitym . My cats are all mature atm and it's getting harder to fine the indoor formula ( my cats love the triangles.and.they eat itnslower and vomit less as long as I feed it) It's also gettimg harder and harder for me to be able.to afford the food. The price keeps going.up, the bags keep getting smaller and there are less and less coupons available.to offset the prize I currently have 4 cats to feed and I am seriously considering switching to another brand.
by april91107 on 09/16/2014
Our Vet does recommend Hill's products, and we are glad to see the formula changed to a more flavorful feed. All our 10 cats eat this food, and seem to be doing fine. I like what our Vet had to say about Hill's food. Now, if you could do the same thing with your canned food.
by gaz48 on 09/15/2014
My three cats like the change to 7+ Adult Cat food. They needed to change from the food they had been eating all their lives and Science Diet was the best choice. They think they are getting a treat every meal!
by mememe3 on 09/05/2014
We have four cats. Two are 15 yrs and two are 3.5 yrs. They all eat the same dry food. Change off from adult 1-7 and then adult plus 7. Since feeding older cats the past couple years. their coat is shinier and filled out, other skin problems have gone away.
by Beth41 on 09/03/2014
My 10 yr old Siamese loves this food. He will not except it if we run out and have to go to the store. He will cry until we get back with the new bag. No better testimony about how an animal likes it then that!
by kprp2008 on 07/16/2014
I always recommend Science Diet to anyone who asks.
by Raelee313 on 07/13/2014
I have been feeding Science Diet for 28 years. Our cat Buddy was on Science Diet as a kitten and as he got older, we changed formulas as he moved through his life stages. At 18-1/2 years of age, we sadly had to put him to sleep due to kidney failure. Up to the end, he always had a nice shiny coat, great muscle tone and beautiful teeth, thanks to Science Diet. Two months after losing Buddy, we rescued two female kittens from a horse barn. They are now 10 years old! Recent blood tests showed "purr-fect" (LOL) blood results. Of course, they are fed Science Diet. We can't be happier with the food that we've fed to our pets for the past 28 years!
by Kaybo on 06/24/2014
My one cat has dietary problems and he has no problems when eating Mature indoor dry food.
by Nancy67 on 06/16/2014
WITH SEVERAL CATS, WE USE DIFFERENT TYPES OF FOODS FOR THE CATS. SOME WITH SENSITIVE STOMACH, SOME WITH HAIRBALL CONTROL, ETC. EXCELLANT PRODUCT. SOME TYPES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH VETS.
by BLACKJACK on 05/01/2014
My little girl really likes this product as well. She does not go outside unless I am with her and only in the good weather-so she is mostly an indoor baby, so I have to watch what I give her. She does eat it up.
by claire2954 on 04/30/2014
My 2 cats, Holly and Sylvester, have eaten science diet cat food since they were kittens. They are now 7 and 8 and this mature indoor formula food is their favorite yet. Their coats are healthier now than ever before. They only go outside under my supervison, so I feed them the indoor formula. This formula of food smells terrific, I would eat it if I had too. If you want the best for your pets, feed them science diet. The best usually costs the most, but it is worth it for my children!
by JamesHolly on 04/26/2014
Consistent good quality product I've used for many years from the time my animals were babies into senior pets.
by Mrbugabee on 04/21/2014
You get what you pay for. Though Science Diet is more expensive than other foods, I'm giving my cat actual nutrition instead of filler that cheaper brands use. That's my preference. He's a healthy cat.
by ChrissyZ on 04/15/2014
We feed all kinds of Hills food to our dogs and cats. Every product gives us GREAT results. We currently use perscription c/d, m/d and kitten (y/d, r/d, and w/d in the past) as well as optimal care for mature adult cats. Our dogs eat small bites for 7+ years. EVERY SINGLE food, wet and dry has shown us a beautiful, healthy animal... a super soft coat... and lots of energy. I highly recommend Hill's Science diet no matter what your pet's specific need is.
by sandyB on 03/22/2014
My cat likes the product and it seems to be good for him health wise. Your periodic $7 coupons help me budget wise . I have two cats (Himalayan and Siamese) that use two different types of Science Diet.
by Gemini on 03/13/2014
We have been using Science diet dry food for our cats for a number of years and the cats love it and are very healthy and happy. We like the variety in selection for the different stages of life.
by bjoh461 on 03/02/2014
My kitties love this food. My three are 6, 11, and 16. Even though my youngest is not really a mature cat, she really likes the food. At their last vet visit, he raved about their condition and muscle tone. He said it must be do to their diet. He asked what they ate and we were glad to tell him.
by MarianL on 02/12/2014
On our last visit to the vet, he raved about the general condition and muscle tone of our three cats, ages 6, 11 and 16. He asked what we fed them because he felt their great condition was due to diet. We were very happy to tell him, Science Diet.
by luckey7111 on 02/04/2014
Over a year ago, I decided to try Hill'sยฎ Science Dietยฎ Mature Adult Indoor cat food for my two rescue felines who are approximately 6 years old. They both like to eat the dry formula exclusively, and stay at a healthy weight range despite having a typically inactive indoor lifestyle. The large bag of dry food is a good value and it stays fresh in a pet food storage container.
by JPS72 on 12/19/2013
We have used Science Diet dry food for our Lennie and Louie since we rescued them as 3 month old kittens (they are now 8-years-old). Through the years we progressed formulas to fit their years and needs. They have always loved their food and are not shy about telling us to fill their bowl when they gauge the level to be too low or not fresh enough. Sounds like they are pretty smart felines! Once we changed to a different brand and it was quickly evident that they would not tolerate that nonsense, so right back to Science Diet we marched. Again, darn smart cats! Keep doing what you are doing for our pets and we can expect to have these buddies for many years to come.
by Marti on 12/17/2013
All of my cats preferred the large kibbles to smaller ones when a friend bought over a different food fancy dry food as gift. Also I have to add their litter box is much easier and less unpleasant to clean up than with other food they have tried.
by MarianD on 11/18/2013
I have four cats, and two of them are in the mature range. With other foods, they would turn up their noses and head for the other cats' food, but then I discovered Science Diet Mature Indoor Dry Food and now I have to hide their food from the others. Even though this particular product is not for hairball treatment, I've noted their hairball episodes have ceased. Overall, I have found this food is excellent in every way. My cats and I are very satisfied.
by Tuxic on 11/12/2013
I love to see my cats eat but best of all not seeing them throw up after they were done! I tried all kinds of cat food and hills was the only one that they couldn't get enough of and again' they didn't throw up after words! Thanks for a good product!
by HOWIE on 11/05/2013
They eat a lot of this but don't seem to gain weight. In fact, since the revision and went to no chicken by products and only using real chicken it has helped them.
by minniehaha1 on 11/03/2013
Sassy is 15 years old and I have been giving her the Science Diet for 11+, but received a free bag of the Mature Adult 7+ Indoor from one of your giveaways. She has gone bonkers for this food. I thought the 11+ would be better and easier for her to eat since the kibble is really small. She has been doing good on the 11+, but this has it beat, paws down. The kibble is a little bigger, but softer. It's not too soft though that it gets stuck to her teeth. She is a small cat and I worry about her weight sometimes. I won't have to worry anymore. Thanks for a wonderful product and for helping me keep her healthy and happy.
by Sassysmom on 10/31/2013
My outside cat Sam loved this food. Seeing him eat it and enjoy it was great!! It seemed to really do good on his stomach and his digestive tract. He looks forward to his meals every day! Thank you!
by Serrosgirl on 10/16/2013
Love that my cats seem to enjoy what they eat. Each morning when I open their food bag they start heading my way and eating as soon as I fill their bowls. And I know that they are getting all the nutrition they need. This is a product I believe and trust in and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you Hill's Science Diet for taking care of my babies.
by Mimi4 on 10/10/2013

by rosey on 10/04/2013
I have an extremely happy cat since I have started feeding her Hill's Science Diet Mature Adult Indoor cat food! She has a healthier coat, and more energy to play with all members of my family! She also enjoys meal time more, and takes more time to enjoy her food!
by hnicholson on 09/28/2013
It's reassuring to have a healthy cat food that our family of cats enjoys! They're in this age range - and can be picky eaters. But there was no problem with Hill's Science Diet Mature Adult Indoor! They loved it!
by mapop on 09/28/2013
This is the only brand we fee our cat because we know it is healthy for her. She love the Mature Adult Indoor.
by Samantha01 on 09/26/2013
I recently switched over from an indoor formula and will admit having difficulty getting my 2 cats to eat. I mixed 3/4 old food with a 1/4 SD. It has been a week and they seem to be enjoying the taste now. I am feeding them the mature 7+ indoor formula I also switched my dog over to SD and he had no problem with the flavor. I would recommend this product
by Sensiia on 09/17/2013
This product seems to offer my cats the nutrition they need without helping to add to their waistline. It seems to keep there coats nice and shiny as well. Only thing I wished it would help with is tartar and overall dental hygiene but that's just because the cats are not fond of teeth brushing
by Kibason on 09/05/2013
Our cat, Alice has transitioned from the old formula to the new. We did it even more slowly than recommended. She has always been an enthusiastic eater and had her first meal gone by the time for the second meal. With this new formula, she always leaves at least a third of her food in her bowl. She is only eating it because she is truly hungry. I think you need to re-evaluate the formula and make it taste more like the old one.
by Jeannie1946 on 07/27/2013
When our three kitties ( Gaius Marius age 16, Tiberius age 11 and Cornelia age 6) had their yearly vet visit, he raved about their health and condition. He said this is very often because of diet. He asked what we fed them. Of course, we said Science Diet. He was very impressed.
by luckey711 on 07/12/2013
My cat eats only this and is healthy and happy at age 10+. She has a self feeding dish and is not over or underweight. She is just a beautiful cat who has eaten nothing but Hills since my veterinarian recommended it. I feel she is getting the best and she loves it.
by BarrieOz on 07/07/2013
Your products were recommended to us over 10 years ago. Our mature kitty can't wait for mealtimes. This variety is more enjoyable to him than the former Science Diet kibble he has had. Seeing him happy and healthy is a great reward for us. We will continue to use your products for the rest of our kitty's life.
by BlueEyes on 07/02/2013
Years ago my vet, who was very committed to economy in pet care, told me to use Hill's Science Diet rather than any other product. Although Science Diet cost more than other pet food brands, she firmly believed it was worth it. My cat eats and thrives on Science Diet, and nobody believes he's eleven. He could easily be a year old, with soft, thick fur, bright eyes, lean muscles and perfect blood work.
by xnyer on 06/30/2013
My cat and I love this food. She was on a different type of Science Diet food but I decided to switch her as she is getting older. She loves the food and it definitely keeps her full much longer than before. No more waking me up at 3:30am to get fed. She actually remains in bed in the morning when I go to feed her when before she would always be waiting at the bowl for me. Love it! And her coat is so soft and shiny too. I just wish I had started her on it sooner!!
by PipPip on 01/09/2013
Both of my cats love this food. I switched to Hill's on the recommendation of my vet after one of my cats suffered an infection of the colon. The food has plenty of oils (good for kidney health) and keeps hairballs at bay as well. My cats just love it. Plus I know it keeps them functioning at a healthy level.
by AnnH on 09/10/2012
I have a very hyper (hungry) indoor cat. Usually with other brands he is constantly wanting to be fed, but with this, he seems much more satisfied and not as hungry all of the time. It really seems more filling and stays with him longer than most brands.
by slddw24 on 08/14/2012
My cat loves this food, and its worth the money for my cat Micah to stay healthy and live a long life.

by calicobaby on 08/01/2012
I have two cats and they both had problems with other dry foods, as soon as they ate them they would throw up. Since changing to Science Diet very rarely do they have a problem. I would recommend this product to anyone with cats.
by magsey on 07/31/2012
I use this for my adult cats, they love it and don't look for as much food because they get the nutrients they need. One who was overweight has lost some weight since being on it. Highly recommend this product.

I wouldn't feed my cat anything other than Science Diet.
by tinaj78 on 06/06/2012
Maintaining 1 of my 3 cat's weight is a bit of a struggle. being a rescue, he spends most of the day with his face in the food dish. I have to feed him an amount that he can eat leaving the food dish empty. The Science Dietยฎ Mature Adult Indoor helps him keep his weight down. My other 2 cats can eat anything and maintain correct weight. However, they eat and enjoy Science Dietยฎ Mature Adult Indoor as well.

I have always had cats. I don't know what I would do without them! I am very pleased with Science Diet foods...my overweight lab has lost 27 lbs. on the Prescription Diet from her vet. So I decided to try Science Diet for my cats. I have noticed a shinier coat, less eye goop in the corners of their eyes, and definitely less cat puke around the house! There is also less feces and it does not smell as bad..and with 5 cats, that is a definite plus in my house! I appreciate that Science Diet has such high quality standards, making sure that my pets all get the proper nutrition that they need to be happy and healthy! Thank you, Science Diet!
by Sgreely1 on 05/28/2012
I have 4 indoor cats all over the age of 7. The love the great taste. The dry food is good for their teeth. And the food is good for their weight since they are over 7 and indoor cats.

Within 24 hours of changing my cat's food to Hills Science Diet indoor, my girl was back to her spunky happy self! She was lethargic and would not come running when I came home. It took 1 bowl within 24 hours for her to be back and spunky as ever. No more throwing up her food either! Thank you Science Diet.

I have 5 cats - ages 2 thru 16 - I have used this product for many years. My cats love it. I used to deal with my cats spitting up their food and since I have been using the Science Diet that problem is pretty much gone. I remember when the news was reporting that many animal's were becoming very ill and many died because of bad cat/dog food I knew that I was OK giving my animals Science Diet. It does cost a little more than the store brands but it truly is worth the extra cost. My vet comments on how nice their coats and teeth are. I attribute this to the food they eat.
by catwoman on 05/18/2012
The cats love it. Everyone comments on how shiny our cats' coats are. And they very rarely have hairballs.
by Jody on 05/17/2012

I have been using science diet for my cats for many years through several generations. My introduction to the product was through my veterinarian. It keeps my cats free from any skin and coat disease, and also urinary infections! My cats stay healthy with Hills Science Diet. I will never switch to other foods as Hills provides products for my babies that will meet whatever needs pop up. Thanks Hills for a great product.

I have had cats for 7 years and I decided to feed them the best...Science Diet, I fed each one this indoor food and have had wonderful healthy cats. With my current cat,,,, shelley, she sheds like mad !! But I have had her for 2 to 3 years now and she has gotten sick with a hair ball maybe 3 times the whole time. Outside of that she never gets sick. I Attribute this to the good quality and nutrition of their food. I feed her a cup of food about every other day. I also give her 1/2 of a small can of wet food a day. She is totally great with this. She has never gotten tired of it !!! I have always loved Science Diet food for a very long time ever since I worked at a vet. hospital that had taught me that Science Diet is the best. And I agree and and will argue the point to the death !!! I feed them nothing but the best !!!!!

I have two 9+ year old cats. Max is a 23 pound Maine Coon and Dylan is my mixed Maine Coon rescue cat. They are indoor only cats and need good nutrition for their aging bodies. I can depend on Science Diet Mature Adult Indoor dry food to provide them with all the benefits they need to be happy & healthy. I feel safe feeding them Science Diet because I know it's a high quality pet food. In addition to our older cats, have a 5 year old cat and a 1 1/2 year old dog both eating Science Diet. We're a SCIENCE DIET Home :-)

We have 3 cat's & they are of all ages, from 3 yrs to 12 yrs. We tried seperating their Science Hill food according to age, but they all gravitated to the Mature 7+. We asked the vet if it was alright for the younger cats, & he said it was alright as long as they were not kittens. Their weight has always been great on this diet, & the hairballs & throw-up are practically non-exsistent. Their coats & teeth are always in great shape. We've been using Science Hill dry products for about 7 yrs, & we'll never stray.

Through our Vet's recommendation, we've been feeding our cats Science Diet for 27 years now. We have indoor cats and have been feeding them mature adult indoor 7 +. They love the food and knock on wood have been very healthy. Their coats are beautiful, smooth and shiny. They also have been having perfect health checkups for the last several years. Try it with your indoor kitties today!

This is one of the only dry foods our cat will eat!

My cat has been eating this formula for a little over a year now and has been active - even at 12! You'd never know she was a mature adult.

I have 3 cats all above the age of 7. My vet recommends Science Diet foods and they have all been on the indoor mature dry food for years and on the indoor dry food appropriate for their ages when they were younger. Their coats are shiny, soft and the hairball issues were greatly reduced when I started them on the Science Diet products. Keep up the good work!!!!! Great product!!!

I have four cats, all with different needs. This one is indoor formula, so it covers all of the cats. One is 8, one is 7, one is 5 and the baby just turned one. She is too busy playing to stop and eat, but the others all wait for breakfast and dinner. I know this is good for them, so feel good about feeding this to them. One cat is on Science Diet Prescription CD, had a Urinary Tract infection. He loves this food and the vet wants him to stay on this for life. He still sneaks some of the other food, but really likes the prescription, so I am thankful for that, because I know it will keep his bladder clear.

We adotped 2 rescue kittens over 10 years ago. A bag of Science Diet came with the kittens. We have continued to feed them exclusively on Science Diet thru all the stages of their lives. They are strictly indoor cats. As seniors, they continue to thrive on the mature indoor dry food. They are the happiest, healthiest cats!

My cats love eating this food, they prefer the larger pieces and seem to eat less. I have always fed Science Diet foods and I believe that is why I rarely have to take my pets to the veterinarian for anything other than yearly check-ups. The high cost is my only complaint. I have been buying Science Diet foods for a long time (> 15 yrs) so I know it costs more, but my cat's health is worth it. However, the price does seem to be getting increasingly steep.

I have been using Science Diet products for about 10 years. I use several kinds (mixed together). My cats are definitely healthier and happier!! I have no major health issues with them and their waste in the litter box is not as odorous as most -- I also attribute that to the type of litter I use as well. The cats really like the flavor of the Science Diet things I use -- mainly the one selected for this review as well as the Oral Care formula. I will always use Science Diet. I have had great success with this product (and all your products)!! Science Diet is the BEST!!

I feed all of my cats only hard food; I always have. There is no finicky behavior in my cats, unless they truly don't like a particular hard food. I like to give my cats a good deal of variety. With 4 on board, I buy a LOT of cat food. And it all needs to be the best I can find. I choose (and they choose!) the Mature Indoor Formula, even tho two of my four are under 10 years of age and even tho they all go outside during the day. This indoor formula helps to keep their weight in check, when served alongside other dry cat foods. Another Science Diet dry food I swear by for all of my cats is the Oral Care formula. I have NEVER had to have my cats' teeth cleaned, which can be very expensive for me, and disturbing for them. My vet ALWAYS comments on my cats' teeth.........that there is very little tartar, that gums look good, etc.; even with my 12 year-old calico sisters. Our "family" LOVES Science Diet!

I have used Science diet cat food for every cat I have ever owned. Currently have 4 mature indoor cats and they all love it. Their coats are soft and shiney and eyes are bright. the very last cat i adopted, BeeGee had a dull dry coat and intermittant vomiting when she came to me. A month on Science diet turned all that around.

My cats don't want any other variety after trying the Indoor cat food. I mix it in with other varieties because it costs a little more than other Science Diet food but this is what they eat first. If I'm home, they will sit in front of the dish waiting for more of this food.

My two 9 year old DSH are very healthy with Hill's Science and my vet told me to use dry food only for dental health when they were kittens. I tried other food and ended up mixing it until it was gone. I chatting with someone at a supermarket, the "other" food is considered too raw. Yes Hill' is a little more expensive but you get what you pay for.

I have 3 cats and they all enjoy their Science Diet. Their coats look beautiful and feel even better. Best of all, I rarely find "kitty surprises" while they are on Science Diet.

I started using Science Diet dry cat food many years ago, at my vet's suggetion. One cat, who had some health problems, lived to be 16. Another made it to 20. I think the quality of the food, along with a yearly check up & recommended vaccinations are the reasons my kitties have done so well.

I mix Science Diet Indoor with the Hairball formula and my kitties love that. It helps keep them healthy and fit. I want only the best for my 3 kitties (actually they are grown cats now).

We were having consistent issues with our cats eating too fast and then throwing up with our old food. We tried this out, and the problem has been virtually eliminated. The pieces are big enough they have to chew before swallowing, but soft enough that they have no trouble with it. The two with sensitive tummies haven't had any issues with it, and have done well on this food. The only drawback is that it is much more expensive than we are used to. We stock up when it's on sale, but it still has some sticker shock. But it works well, and not having to clean up half digested food makes it worth it!
