I got my Kali from a shelter 5 years ago, she had been eating Science Diet Optimal Care and I kept feeding it to her. We got a kitten later that year and they both love their Science Diet. Kali was 5 when we adopted her and I have switched them to the Active Longevity. Kali loves it so much she, when I open a new bag she will stick her head in and eat right out of the bag!

I have been using science diet products for over 30 yrs. Cats love the taste and I love the minimal waste cleanup. My Cats have shiny coats , no hairballs and are extremely healthy. Even my older cats are still playful. I have tried other products but for me none come close to the quality of hills .

I once had a kitten with a urinary infection. My vet put her on antibiotics and told me to feed her Science Diet cat food. Her infection cleared up, she never had another problem with it and I never looked back. All my cats since then have been fed only Science Diet dry food. All have lived to ripe old ages with very few health problems. Another interesting note is that out of all the cats I've had since then, I've only had to have maybe 3 teeth pulled TOTAL. In my opinion, I credit Science Diet Dry for that

Have 4 cats ranging in age from 5 to 12 yrs. Only feed Science Diet. Their coats are healthy and shiny. Their regular vet visits show them to be healthy. I use various Science Diets - Hairball, Original, Light, Indoor - so the cats do not get tired of one. They all favor any fish flavors over chicken or rice. My only criticism is that it is very expensive to feed 4 cats on the price that Science Diet now is. I would greatly appreciate more availability of coupons to help offset the price of the product.

As above - with multiple 'mature' cats none have shown any tendency to be picky even when I switch type of food [eg sometimes 'Light', etc [altho have never tried any of the hairball control etc.] And the size of the food is small enough for the ones without any teeth or very few! The size of the feed is important to me.

Years ago my veterinarian told me I could either spend my money on better cat food or spend it on vet bills. Over the years I've proven him right. Saving money on cat food has always come back to hurt my cats, either causing urinary problems, excessive shedding or general poor appearance. Our cats have enjoyed this cat food for many years. Most of our cats live to be nearly twenty years old and are very healthy. They love to play even in old age. If given a chance, they will even scratch open a bag even tho they have food in their bowl so that tells me they love it.

Just had to write a review of this great dry formula for mature cats. I feed this to 26 various breeds of resident cats along with many other varieties of Hills Science Diet. Funny, but my senior cats seem to know this food is good for them. There is something in this formula they like and need. If the Mature Active Longevity bowl goes empty they really do come and get me to fill it back up. Of course the younger cats get in this but I keep their best formulas of Hills availble too. I have cats 19 years old and they eat only Hills Science Diet foods so that says everything. Mature Active Longevity is the best balance of fiber and fatty acids and still has a good source of protein. I can depend on Hills to meet the requirements of every life stage of my cats. I would never switch foods. My cats are all indoors and we never seem to have upsets in the litter pans or excessive hairballs. All have shiny healthy coats, bright eyes and we don't make vet trips because someone is sick. Thank you Hills for being an innovative company that constantly keeps up with my cats' needs. Hills gives me peace of mind that I am doing the best I can for my pets. I trust Hills completely and that is one less thing I have to worry about in this busy hectic world.

We have been using the dry food for mature adult (old age) cats for several years now. Very pleased with this product. We have four cats and they seem to like it and I've been hainvg less trouble with hairballs, although that never goes away completely. We also use the mature adult wet food, giving that to them for breakfast and dinner. The dry food comes out at noon and for snacks.

I have only feed my cat Hills Science Diet her whole life. I believe it is the good stuff. She just turned 18 years and she is still going strong. The vet could not believe she was a senior cat. She has the softest and prettiest coat. I know that she is getting up in age so I switched her to the Senior Cat food to make sure that she gets what she needs for her age. I would say the proof is in the kitty. Her fur is so soft and shiny - it wouldn't be that way if she wasn't healthy. All my pets get Hills and they all have wonderfully soft and shiny coats.

My eldest cat had lost over 3lbs in our last check up and the vet was worried. We decided to change brands as she didn't seem to be suffering from a skin condition anymore that her food her food had been prescribed for and felt that a food change would be the pick me up she needed. We decided on Hill's science diet as our new dog seems very happy with it and the cats had actually been secretly stealing it! We went with the longevity as I want to keep our fluffy friends around as long as possible and as healthy as possible. They absolutely love it! We have an automatic feeder and with the old brand I was only filling it up maybe twice a week at most (I also feed them wet food daily). Now, I can't keep up with demand! They wolf it down like they've never been fed before and I'm refilling at least3-4 times a week. The best part is that our cat gained a pound in her first month on this food and is still climbing her way back to normal weight. Absolutely couldn't be happier.

Two of my cats have been on Science Diet since they were kittens. The other two were rescues. They were pretty rough (their coats and they were thin). I started the rescues on Science Diet and within a matter of weeks their coats were shiny and healthy.
