Product has changed
This food has dramatically changed. My dog simply won't eat it. He has had trouble swallowing it. This evening I mixed in chicken broth, but that made no difference. It appears to be a different product. I see what looks like yellow corn in it. Please what have you done? by on 08/10/2023
Dry, crumbly texture what happened
I have used this product for our Labrador Retriever for the past several years. Last week, we got a new shipment of two cases of cans from Chewy and the quality has gone downhill. Instead of giving the appearance of predominantly a meat/barley mixture, now it appears to be heavily barley with little meat component. It is very crumbly and sandy and not cohesive at all. beef & barley, chicken & barley.
What is going on. I called headquarters & I guess people are ignoring the problem that these cans are crumbling , feels just like sand on the beach. Are they being stored properly? My dogs were doing good on Hills for years, now I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. No one seems to rectify this problem. Maybe I should send you the contents of the can. Try it your dog will love it
I started feeding this to our Blue Heelers. They love it! I mix the dry food and the wet food together. They are eating better than they have in years. Last night I tried another food. They finally ate it because they were hungry but didn't like it. Today I went to get their Science Diet. by on 12/07/2022

It works and they like it..
We have been feeding Science Diet for approx. 1 year. My 2 ShizTsu both had problems digesting there food, and would throw up many, many time... since switching to Science Diet this has stopped.. by on 05/05/2017
Dog doesn't like it as well as old style
I have been buying hills for my dog for 12yrs , lately he doesn't seem to like it as much. I have tried the stew , chicken , liver and turkey .he always liked the beef ,but lately he doesn't care as much for it. Maybe it's because of his age. Hills is all I have ever fed him. by on 04/22/2016
New name and label for a (maybe) discontinued name
I understand this is a "renaming" of Gourmet Beef Entree (which disappeared from stores without any explanation). Hills Science Diet should've made it known that this was the case instead of putting our dogs through 2 changes as each of the Gourmet Entrees disappeared from the stores. by on 02/19/2016
