GI Lymphoma is common in cats yet you add inflammatory ingredients for an obligate carnivore such as glutens, grains, and sometimes even chicken. These new Onc foods are high in carbs with all the corn and wheat and grains. Why can't you make an appetizing cat diet with just meat, fats, and a little prebiotic fiber? Cancer diets should be low carb, especially for carnivores. Also, make a pate which is easier to consume.

Split decision, one cat loves, one cat doesn't submitted by Cat lady on 2023-07-14

I unfortunately have 2 cats that were diagnosed with GI lymphoma within months of each other, weight loss was the biggest concern in both. One of my cats loves the canned and dry, and has gained his weight back with the food and meds. The other unfortunately won't eat either form and we are still struggling finding a good high calorie food. Would love to see a pate or fish flavor as my other seems to prefer them.

Our fur baby was just diagnosed with a primary lung tumor and our doctor recommended this line. She loves the dry food, but only takes a lick at the wet food. The rice and veggies and chunks of meat are generally not appealing to her unfortunately. I have to throw each can away but will still try as I trust that Hills has created a great product for our pets living with cancer. And as we all know, kitties/cats are very selective about what they eat! Thank you

The product nutritional information provides no calorie content. Product contains Carrots, rice and ground pecan shells. Cats are carnivores I don't understand why a sick cat would need wheat gluten and carrots? Also super expensive .
