My cat was getting severely overweight. I've had Otto on this food for a couple months now and I definitely see a change and his mobility has increased a lot!

This product has been amazing at helping my cat lose and maintain wait and decreased his UTI episodes. However, I am really disappointed by the company for not having it back on stock for almost 8 months now. We switched to another c/d but my cat gained weight. Is there any reason why is this not produced? Is hill going to discontinue this?

My cat loved the original formulation of this food. While I understand that the ingredients are the same, the order of the ingredients has been changed and now she puts up her nose at it. She does not like any other food, human or otherwise. Including tuna, tuna juice, chicken, chicken broth, treats or any wet food. So there is no real way to entice her to eat it. I have been unable to get her to eat any from newly opened bags. Since this cat food ist $44.00 per bag I am curious as to why the order of the ingredients would have been changed.

This food is more expenive than what I would usually buy, but is well worth it! My cat has lost weight and has nn more urinary health issues.

Have 3 cats that really love this food.. Only one needs it but have to feed to all because they move her out of the way and eat it. I believe the food has helped with the urinary crystals since there have been no more occurrences.

Our cat was overweight and suffering from crystals. Her vet prescribed Hills Metabolic + Urinary diet for her. She accepted the food right from the start. Over the course of 2 months the crystals reduced greatly and by 3 months she no longer had any. It has been a year now that she has been on this food and she has lost 3.5 lbs and no return of crystals. Her energy level has increased and she is a very happy cat.

We have 8 inside cats some are rescued! We can't take up the food during the day as we don't know who has eaten or not. Weight gain was really getting bad so we started them on this and within the 2-3 month we saw the weight loss on several Plus they seemed more playful and energetic!!

we had to find a cat food with a certain magnesium count. lots of label reading later we found this food and also a coupon. only have one cat that needed the special diet but all got put on the diet. they all love it and I am always on the look out for sales and coupons

This is all I am using right now. Yes, it works well but I am limited on coupons and cannot afford to buy the canned c/d as well as the dry c/d so Alex is eating only dry right now. Hill's will only give me coupons every few months and the product is very expensive.

I bought Hills prescription diet urinary tract dry food for my cat and it really works with her urinary tract problem. She has been on this food for a couple of years and her problems are all cleared up and she loves the taste both dry and wet, so thank goodness for this product to keep my cat healthy hooray something that actually works! My male cat needs to use the urinary care formula, and this metabolic + urinary care is the only one he will eat. My only problems with this product are: the cost and the lack of flavor options. It would be great to have a fish option. And Hill's needs to let us pet owners download their coupons for the food as many times as we need (maybe limit to once per month).

I have two cats on the Metabolic-Urinary food so that both eat the same thing. One cat had problems with bladder stones and her weight. She has been using this food for about 4 months. Both cats love the flavor and I am beginning to see some reduction in the weight of the cat with bladder stones. Expensive food - more coupons would be a big help.

My cat was struggling with weight issues and she loved this diet! The kibble was the perfect size for her and she seemed happy with just being fed her normal two meals a day. No begging in between meals.

We transitioned our 22lb female cat to this diet recently from C/D. She eats it readily. Still monitoring to see if there is any weight loss. I agree with the other reviews that it is quite pricey. Coupons would be GREATLY appreciated. I would have rated the diet a 5 star but due to the cost, I gave it a 4 star.

My cat became overweight and was unable to groom herself completely. Her coat was prone to mats. She lost half a pound after just 30 days on this prescription diet. Her fur looks shiny, she sheds much less, and she has no mats. She is well on her way to being a healthy cat again thanks to this food.

Our cat had urinary tract surgery (male to female) and our veterinarian strongly suggested we only use this product. It took a week or so for our cat to get used to the texture/flavor but now wants to eat several times a day. There has not been an issue since the surgery and I firmly believe the food has been the main reason. I would recommend this product for any cat with that's had the same or similar surgery.

I have two older male cats. I used the urinary care S/D prescription diet for 1 month for my older cat. Now we are using the C/D prescription diet for both cats. They are not real happy with the tastes! Hope they can get use to it. I do think the pricing is to high. I love my boys and I have to take care of them. But if I can get coupons it will be a big help. Thank you HEM

I adopted a 17+ lb cat from the local Humane Society in early May. He'd been relinquished by his family after they had a baby and had a history of bloody urine at the shelter. The first week I brought him home, he had a few outside-the-box incidents, but as soon as I put him on the Metabolic + Urinary, he has been perfect. He LOVES this food, but also doesn't drive me nuts for more than he gets (and my other cat, who isn't overweight but is eating this too, is now much quieter in the morning). They both are satisfied and Jabba is steadily losing weight. We're going to have to change his name eventually!

I recently switched from the c/d dry for my cat to the urinary and metabolic. It was a very easy transition with no GI symptoms. I would highly recommend this food for any cat needing to lose weight and have the benefits of the C/D.

Our clinic cat is overweight and has substantial chronic urinary issues. We recently transitioned him from a competitor's product to the Metabolic + Urinary dry and we can already see a difference! His hair coat is shinier, skin less flaky, less irritation when urinating, and overall just more energy. We are very pleased with his progress so far and are excited to see what the future with this diet brings.
