My cat will not eat other dry prescription GI foods but loves this one. I'm relieved to have something less expensive to mix in with his wet food and it's good for his teeth.

My 4 month old kitten loved the taste of the kibble

Great food for our senior cat. In fact, has become the only dry food she'll eat. Unfortunately, Hills must not be producing it because it is unavailable everywhere, both in store and online. Severely disappointed with Hills and not sure what we'll do for a dry food.

This product has worked wonders for my cat w/ IBS but it is always out of stock everywhere. It has been very stressful trying to find alternatives that work for my cat while this food continues to be unavailable for over a month and a half now.

My cats love this, even the one who shouldn't be eating it.

I switched my cats to Biome this past year and they love it. The problem is availability (and pricing - wow!) I pay over $90 for a 5 kg bag and I think $69 for the smaller bag. I cannot find any information about what appears to be a supply chain issue. My vet just keeps saying they have no idea when they might get some stock.

I never write reviews but this is worth a review. My 9 year old Birman (and his 9 year old sister less so) was so constipated he started weeing on my lounge to alert me of his dire troubles. He was pooping around the house too, small hard lumps that sometimes required human intervention to remove. After a vet trip (including blood and urine tests) and the recommendation of this product he is so much better after 1 week. All pooping is undertaken in the litter tray or outside. There are no hard light brown lumps anymore.

I cannot praise this food enough! My 9 year old cat was very constipated. She would always have very small hard bum's and was leaving them all over my house. She would have episodes of getting extremely sick and the vet would have to sedate her to give her enemas. I had to take her into the vet for enemas 3-4 times in 2021. She had been losing weight and was 6 lbs by October 2021. My vet consulted with a Hill's rep and he recommended GI Biome. It has literally saved my cat's life. Within 2 weeks she was having healthy bowel movements daily. She has gained weight back and her coat feels healthy again. Her temperament has improved drastically too. I didn't know how sick she really was before, but now I have my car back thanks to this food.

My cat has been on Prescription Z/D for a few months. I notice that his stool has been getting looser and looser and a terrible smell. Since I have had many cats in my lifetime, I knew this wasn't normal. My vet recommended Biome and within a day his stool is normal. The best part is he loves the wet food, not like the pasty z/d. This was a game changer. Thank you Hills.......

Our cat suffers megacolon after a tail pull injury. He literally couldn't pass a bowel movement, and was subjected to numerous vet visits with constant enemas, to the the degree where the only solution offered was euthanasia. Finally we were told this product was to be available in Australia by our long suffering vet, so we started him on this and continued with his lactulose & cisapride (which wasn't doing it on its own). This was a total game changer for us. We feel it's a miracle, as he hasn't had one constipation issue since. Our cat is really lucky to be alive, and we are totally thankful we were put onto this product. Highly recommended for any issue the same.

I got this for my cat who has tummy issues and I love it! This product has worked for three years and she loves the food as well.

My cat for 7 years has head very, very loose stool (apologies for anyone who's squeamish) that smelled so putrid he would bolt out of the litter box room as soon as he was done. We tried more kibble brands than we could count ranging from ones tailored to sensitive stomachs, indoor cats, long-haired, etc. Nothing helped him at all. Having owned a cat previously before him, we understood this wasn't typical stool for cats. Our vet recommended we put him on this kibble and within 48 hours his stool was what it should be, like what it is for normal cats. It's structured/solid and the best part, DOESN'T SMELL! I imagine it's a lot more comfortable for him now, as well as it is for us. Thanks, Hills!

Our cat has megacolon--his large intestine just doesn't work well, and he has chronic constipation. He has suffered through a deobstipation procedure (they dig it out) as well as several enemas. He was on lactulose, Miralax, and Cisapride, and we just couldn't keep it under control. He'd veer from severely constipated to diarrhea, and we were constantly fiddling with the dosage levels of his meds. And the lactulose seemed to interfere with his calcium levels and other things in his system, giving him bouts of vomiting, malaise, etc. After putting him on this product, he is having regular bowel movements of good consistency, he's off the lactulose entirely, and we cut the Cisapride dose in half. We have to occasionally skip doses of the meds because he'll start leaving little "tootsie rolls" around the house (they just pop out like a rabbit), but those are minor and sporadic episodes and easy to manage. This stuff isn't cheap, but neither are vet trips for enemas and other procedures, and this is easier on everyone. I highly recommend it for cats with similar problems.

I adopted a 7 months old cat who had been struggling with severe (maybe chronic) diarrhea for more than a month. We tried everything, vet first suggested we put him on Metro (antibiotics) for 2 weeks, nothing changed. We were feeding him Monge vetrenary dry food along with the meds. Then went back to the vet because it did not help him at all! Vet raised his antibiotics daily dosage, and gave us a tube of probiotics too to use for a week. Nothing changed, my cat still had bad diarrhea that is completely watery! Went back to vet, he said you know what? Try feeding him Hill's Biome dry food, and he explained stuff to me about how this might help the cat. We started feeding him that on Monday, today is Thursday and my cat's poop is looking worderful! He pooped out 4 distinct obvious shapes (still wet and not 100% normal) but wow wow wow I'm over the moon!! I believe in a couple of more days his poop will be happy and normal. I highly recommend this for cats with diarrhea

I rescued my 5 yr old orange cat , Leo, October, 2020. He had very sick, stinky poops. After 4 month and two to three vet visits, the vet prescribed the Biome dry food to try . Not only does he eat it , after 4 days his poops are about 75 to 80 % solid. He is not quite off his old food since I am gradually introducing the new but absolutely seeing a difference. Hopefully, Leo is feeling a bit better as well.

My 15 year old Maine Coon mix has had gastrointestinal issues since we adopted him 5 years ago. We tried countless types of food (Hills and non-Hills)...food trials...medicines...and finally, with B12 shots and this Biome food, he is responding wonderfully! His coat is 100% better, eyes are bright, mulls & spins around his bowl at feeding time waiting for this food...and then purrs while he eats! His diarrhea has almost completely gone and he seems so much more comfortable and happy. I strongly recommend this food...it's been a miracle for our boy!

I was having troubles with my cats stomach for about 2, who is only 3 years of age, I was running multiple tests at the vets, poo samples, bloods, all sorts. My cats ears, and skin started to get effected, from just having a bad gut all the time, and I was at a loss on what to do, and my cat was on prednisone medication on top of it all, which I wanted to get him off it ASAP from how young he was... The vets finally came to the conclusion that he had Irritable Bowel Syndrome. And then not long after, this food was brought out. I was able to take Kovu off prednisone and only use this product, and it has honestly worked wonders! No more runny poo's no more stomach upsets. And I couldn't be more happier, for once my boy doesn't feel so sick in the tummy all the time. And I cannot explain how happy that makes me. He's loving the wet food option too! As having any sort of wet food would make his stomach upsets so much worse!

My cat Oliver has been on normal i/d for 8 months and towards the end would still every now and then have a bit of diarrhoea or a soft formed poo. Since swapping (within a 24hr period) to I/d biome his faeces have been formed normally and no runny poo's! Highly recommend this product!

My cat has the Coccydia parasite, and we have been unable to eliminate it (multiple times) with treatment at the vet. It results in diarrhoea, which is made worse when she is stressed, and was ongoing for a number of weeks before the Biome was released. Within a couple of days of starting the wet and dry food - the stools were becoming solid again, and I no longer have to worry about messy puddles and poo being spread all over my house! She also LOVES the food. She has gone from grazing, to almost eating her whole meal at once.
