My 13 year old Shih Tzu has been on K/D for 5 years loves the Chicken Jerky. They easily break in half do that I can give it to him more frequently. I Have also started giving him the Hill's Soft Baked Treats, as well. He is happy with both and the nutritional levels are very similar, with manageable protein and low phosphorus Just a quick note.....the Soft Baked Treats appear to be much lower in Sodium than the Jerky

Both dogs seem to really enjoy this. I like that it actually takes them a few minutes to eat and they do not just inhale the treat. My only drawback is there is always an odd number in the bag and I have 2 dogs.

My two mini dachshunds love the chicken jerky as well as the veggie chips and fruity snacks. As soon as I head towards their treat area, they are sitting, ready and waiting. The chicken jerky is easy to split into two pieces, so I am able to watch their diets while still giving them treats they love.

My Schnoodle, Luna, loves these treats. She does not process a lot of protein, so it limits what types of treats she gets. These treats have 10% protein which is acceptable for her. Not to be rude, however one of the name brand treats gives her unladylike flatulence these treats do not. I would buy these treats again.

All 4 of my dogs loved this jerky. It was soft and chewy, not hard and dry like most jerky. They loved the size too. It was bigged enough for my two rotties and bigger Aussie, but not too big for my smaller Aussie mix. Everyone had a nice snack.

We received these treats & have a 4 pound yorkie. They are a bit large for him, so we cut them up. He loved them. If we did give him a larger portion, he would lick & lick & gnaw. It was a great treat for him. I'd get more.

I would assume its tasty. My Bull Mastiff ate it right down. He seemed to enjoy it. Its soft but not overly soft. The right size for medium to large dogs. You could break it in half for smaller dogs.

My 2 girls (Stella and Luna) the moment they say the bag, they follow me everywhere!!! After they gobble down the first one, they were waiting for more, so to make them happy I gave them a second one, but I had to stop there because they would have eatin the whole bag! After receiving a sample in the mail, I was a little worried because my dog is pretty picky. But when I pulled one out of the bag he ate it right away adn stood there looking for seconds. I have 10 dogs, ranging from a chihuahua to a saint bernard and let me tell you I have never ever had them gobble down a treat as fast as they did today. I was really excited to find the chicken jerky sample in my mail box today. But not as excited as my dogs were. Not one of them delayed in enjoying their treat. As soon as I opened the bag, my dogs came running. They both scarfed them down and came back begging for me. Not only did they like the treats, but the treats didn't have a gross smell like most jerky treats do, they actually smelled like normal beef jerky a person would eat. The main ingredient being chicken makes me happy to give these to my dogs.

I was disappointed that the first ingredient was wheat flour. Unfortunately, she did not eat any of the varieties, she hid them and they're still there in the corner. I feed her organic treats that I order from an individual so that might have been why she wasn't interested.

She asks for the jerky treats all day long! She'll happily eat the others but the Jerky Strips are by far her favorite. I have to break them in half just so she can treasure them for more than a couple of days. To my nose, they are very "bouillon" smelling. So I store them in an additional zip lock bag. To her nose, they smell like heaven.

My dogs received 3 bags of these treats to try and review :) They loved all of them, but the jerky was paws down their favorite. There were 5 dogs that tried them, 1 large rottweiler and 4 mini dachshunds. There were a couple left in the bag when one of the dachshunds got a hold of it, tore open the bag and feasted on the last few, lol.

Aloha Hills, I rescued a Pom and he is now around 7 or 8 yrs old now. He doesn't have all his teeth so finding soft treats that he likes and can eat can be difficult. I found that if I give him these jerky treats broken up he loves it. Now he can enjoy treats at the same time as my other dogs. These also do NOT give him the runs like others I tried. I have a Papillon mix, he's about 15 lbs., and he nearly ran me over when I walked into the house with these treats! When I do purchase treats or chew toys, I tend to sniff them just to see how "natural" they are. Many times products lean towards a synthetic or plastic chemically smell, but not these! It smelled very flavorful and almost good enough to eat, I had the feeling it had been marinated for an extended period of time. Texture wise they are are chewy, though not soft, and has a nice density to them, so it appears to be quite a substantial and filling snack. At times, my pet seems to have issues with stomach sensitivity (loose stool, gas, etc.) when I give him new treats but there are no apparent issues here.
