While these cats may look unassuming, beware. This cat is a non-stop ball of energy that is going to jump all over you given even the slightest chance. These cats prefer climbing up high to walking around on the floor like the rest of us, so donโ€™t be surprised if you see your Singapura atop your fridge or cabinets. Also a very smart breed, this cat is not only an attention hog, but they are good at it. If you have the energy to keep up with this breed, they are one of the most loving, entertaining, and enjoyable breeds around. .

The Singapura is pretty much locked into a kind of rich sable ticked pattern.

Health Concerns

The Singapura purebred is quite healthy, and does not have any breed-specific health problems. Also, they have an extended lifespan of 9-15 years.

The first thing most people notice when looking at a Singapura are those gigantic eyes looking back at them, which are only accentuated by the fact that they are so tiny themselves. Looking like a tinier version of their Abyssinian ancestor, this breed has the same long ears and ticked fur. Despite their size, they are sturdily built and muscular, giving them the ability to jump around like nobody's business. They have a wispy, thin tail, and a slightly shortened muzzle. All things considered, this cat is adorable!
