Has worked on all out Labs. WE know as our pets get older they get aches and pains just like a human. This does help to reduce they pain and increase mobility

Have used Arthogen for two dogs for many years. The first dog had ACL rupture surgery at Purdue Univ. on both back legs because he was a German Shepherd mix and they are susceptible to these ruptures. He not only survived the surgery with flying colors, but did extremely well afterwards and was on Arthogen from then on (our vet recommended this type of joint medicine). He lead a full active life for 14 yrs, not showing any noticeable arthritic pain. Good product!

My rescue pug's back legs were weak & my vet recommended Dasuquin to ease her walking. The supplement made a noticable difference but when that bottle was done I looked for a comparable tablet with a lower price. Tried a brand from the store and while the effect was the same she'd flip the pill out of her bowl or eat around it. She didn't like the taste of either Savory Beef or Dreamy Peanut Butter nor would any of the other pugs in our extended family touch them (5 pugs and if you know pugs most will eat just about anything!). I had to cover the pills up with peanut butter or use pill pockets to get her to eat them but it was still more cost effective than the expensive Liver flavored ones we started with. I tried Arthogen when it was a special buy and finally found another effective supplement my pug will eat! Only downside is though the pills are scored I can't break them in half with my fingers, I have to use a pill cutter.

My 12 year old Lab was having a hard time just walking because of Arthritis in his wrists. The pills the vet had him on did nothing . After about 2 weeks on Arthrogen he was running and even jumping into the truck. The change was incredible. I have my walking buddy back . I have recommended this product to friends of mine who also have older dogs and they have had the same great results.

I've bought this product a few times and seems to help somewhat with my dog. I have a Rottweiler that has under gone two leg surgeries and has moderate hip dysplasia. It's no miracle pill, but I do think it has helped him over the years. But this latest batch of pills I bought were terribly foul smelling. I am hesistant to order again. It is getting to be more and more of a struggle to get him to eat them.
by Anonymous Pet Parent on 03/27/2010
Both of my dogs refuse to eat these. They smell bad too.

My 8 year old papillon was struggling with shoulder pain and stopped playing and struggled to even look up at us. A couple of trips to the vet and two bottles of prescribed medication helped a bit but kept running out without solving the issue. However, since taking this medication (or treat in my dog's e1) he is back to jumping, dancing and fetching like a pup! I will definitely buy more of this for him.

My 11 year old toy poodle was experiencing problems with one of his rear legs and after a couple of weeks on Arthogen he is running and jumping as if he was a puppy. The product really works.

My ten yr old dog was having a lot of pain when going up stairs and getting up on the furniture (1, that's allowed in my house. It is, after all FUR niture) Since taking the Arthogen, she is still a bit hesitant at times, esp. during cold, wet weather, but she isn't showing any signs of pain. And she thinks these are treats, so getting her to take them isn't a problem. I think she would eat the whole jar if she could.

My 10+ year old Great Pyrenees mix had developed an odd gait. After x-rays, the vet said her left hip was dislocating when her leg was manipulated. The vet sent her home with a 30-day supply of Rx anti-inflammatory meds and a bottle of Cosequin DS. I was taken aback by the cost. After considerable research, I discovered Arthogen has the same active ingredients and amounts, for considerably less. Since I already had the Cosequin DS, I went ahead and used that for the loading dose for the first month. Then I switched to the Arthogen, and the improvement has been steady. I'm so happy with it, that I've started giving it to my 8 year old Aussie/GSD mix, who has recently begun showing signs of stiffness when she gets up. I plan to always have a bottle of Arthogen on hand.

My dog was having pain in her back hips and with just two doses the pain is gone and she can jump and run again.

Our golden child, Cody, is 13+ and though he has his days of stiffness, I am certain that Arthogen is what keeps his joints more mobile than what they would be without taking it. We began giving it to him about 6 years ago and swear by it. Ask your vet if it will work for your dog--and buy it from Pet CareRx because it is the economical and efficient way to go--never run out of it, your dog will thank you.

Thomas is a mix breed that has arthritis in his front leg joints and one hip. We have been using this product for 3 years now and he was "much" better within a month. He doesn't moan like he used to when he tried to get up. I feel this natural product was much better than prescription drugs which would soon fail his kidneys. Be good to your baby, by this product!

This is wonderful product in place of the rimydl for starting arthritis.
by Corrine_dog_breeder on 04/03/2008
If you're looking for something to help your dog get around easier or decrease stiffness------this is it! My 11year old Shih Tzu was really stiff this winter, the vet recommended Glucosamine, but it was really difficult to get her to take the pill. Arthogen has the Glucosamine but is in a chewable form which she loves. I have also seen a difference in her activity, she plays with our new puppy and she is going up/down the stairs again!! My ONLY complaint is that the pills are really hard to break in half, though they are scored they are really tough-but worth all the effort.

My dog is getting old and used to have trouble walking up and down the stairs. But since I started giving him Arthogen, he moves with ease! Thank you.

This product is great. My dog had surgery on both of her hind knees and now is now even limping. If I stop giving her this product she limps.

My dog had surgery on both her back legs. The doctor recomened giving glucosamine to her and after a few months, and a year after surgery, she is back to her normal active self.

Darlin', age 4, was limping on first her left hind leg, and then of her right hind leg. After only 3-4 weeks of taking Arthogen, she could jump up into my Explorer's front seat just like when she was a young dog. She is now 8 years old and still having nno problems getting into my new Explorer!Don Dees

My dog was limping on first her left hind leg, and then on her right hind leg, for no apparent reason at all. After only three weeks on Arthogen, she was back to her old self again and could jump right up into my Explorer just like when she was a puppy!!!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product for dogs with 'hip displasia' and/or the beginings of osteo arthritis!!!

Arthrogen is a MIRACLE for my dog! It has helped so much with the stiffness and pain in her hip. She's nine now but she gets around like a two year old. Love it!

About 2 years ago, my 4 year old mixed breed dog got to where she could no longer jump up into my Ford Explorer. this just "broke her heart" and she would stand there looking at the seat and whimpering. I ordered a bottle of these pills (Arthogen) and within 2 months she was once again able to jump into the vehicle's front seat! Now, just to make it easier on her, I open the passenger side door and she is able to first jump up onto the floorboard and then on into the seat. She LOVES to go with me in the car, no matter to her where we are going just as long as she can go too!!Thanks to PetCare RX for making these wonderful pills for my Darlin'!!!Donald Dees

I have been giving my Sarah an Aspirin twice a day and whatever arthritis medicine I had on hand at the time. Tried many. After about a week of giving her Arthogen she started acting more chipper and after two weeks she started wanting to be outside more. She wonโt eat it straight like the package says she will (thatโs why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) but I put them in Pill Pockets and that works.

Our 9year old Bichon Frise ( Teacha) has had problems with her legs for about 5 or 6 years now. We had her right back knee joint operated on to fix it now it is in her left back leg. She has been limping off and on for about 1 year now. I ordered Arthogen for her and in 1 week or less she has NO MORE limp, she runs and once again plays with her toys. It is such a relief and wonderful feeling to see her in no more pain and not having to go through another operation. Also we always had problems with her e1 running and they have improved to 100%, that is a bonus as we only thought to try Arthogen for her joints and it improved her e1 as well. Thank You!!PetCareRx. We love you! and our pets, you made life easier for our Teacha.

My dog Duke boy, a Boxer was shot in the rear leg a few years ago, by who we have no idea. I was told as he aged his leg would become arthritic and he would slow way down on his activity. Duke would not run or really play anymore, just content to be loved in your lap. Since giving him Arthogen he is practically back to his old self! He runs, jumps, and plays. He actually chases our new puppy around the yard. Duke boy is back to the 80lb puppy that he always was. Thank you so much for this product.

Well it sounds like I am not the only dog owner who has turned to another product to try and put the shine back in my companions e1. Jazmine, our 10 year old collie has arthritis in her hips and we have watched helplessly as her mobility and disposition has deteriorated. The pain Rx was no longer helping as before. I had given her glucosamine suppliments for the last 2 years, but they didn't seem to help her anymore either. Her hips would give out and she would not be able to lift her hind-in off the floor. Several times she would start yelping, because she couldn't get up. She also had difficulty making the 2 short steps off our deck to the back yard. I decided to try Arthogen after reading a few reviews and thought what could it hurt. Well, Here is another great review. She has that shine back and has returned to her favorite chair. She is chasing the rabbits and squirrel again. Her hip does still give out and she will never catch another rabbit or squirrel, but I am sure we will have her with us a little longer and her quality of life has improved 100%. I highly recommend this product to anyone with a dog suffering from joint pain.

I have an 11 year old Springer Spaniel that was really starting to suffer with arthritis. My very young Springer had just been diagnosed with hip displasia and began taking a prescription Glucosamine. My old girl deserved no less than the young puppy. I started her on Arthogen immediately. The results have been remarkable. I'm so pleased to see her out keeping up with the puppy. I regret that I didn't start her on Arthogen sooner. As soon as the prescription med runs out, the puppy will be on Arthogen as well.

Our sweet dog was unable to do the multiple stairs in and out of our home. We were worried she couldn't function much longer ,though her disposition remained sweet. X-rays showed 90% of the hip joint gone on one side and 60% on the other. Pain pills seemed our only option, but these alone were not enough to allow her to manage the stairs and we couldn't lift this 85lb. dog.We ordered Arthogen as a last resort. She is much improved, Tail wagging, she still struggles up and down the stairs, But now it looks like we will be lucky enough to have her for another year.

Our 9 year English Setter, Abbey, plays again. At first the vet thought it was a soft tissue injury and administered a steroid injection. Months later she was limping again. Turns out the first injury caused permanent arthritic changes in Abbey's hip and knee. We watched her go from the neighborhood play pal to a lethargic porch pooch. It was so sad...the only remedy was periodic shots. I decided there must be more and she deserved to get her mobility back. I searched the web and found PetCareRx! This medication has brought back a youthful, playful, full of personality wonder-dog! We are so grateful. We noticed a huge difference in the first week. She has been taking this med for a few months now, so this is not a jump to a conclusion! It really works. It's a miracle! I wish I could tell everyone what this means to our family.

My dog was only about one and 1/2 years old and he startedhaving problems with his hips and lots of pain after exercising. He could not jump into our car without being us lifting him up by his back legs since he weighs almost 100 pounds. He could notjump into bed with my son without help either. He would cry atnight and I had to give him asprin. Our vet checked him out andsaid he had minor arthritis but it would get worse soon. I decided to try arthogen since our vet said products like thesecan help and may even stop the progression of major arthritis. After getting arthogen I started to see a change in our dogaround the third week. He has been taking arthogen for overa year now and he never crys anymore from stiffness and can jump into cars and up onto my son's bed with no help or problem at all. He only takes two tablets a day and is a much happier dog. I cannot believe the change. I would recommend this product to anyone having problems with arthritis in their animals. It sure has worked for our dog. This is a great product...

THE VERY FIRST WEEK A NOTEABLE CHANGE IN WALKING AND GETTING INTO THE CAR, GETTING UP ON THE BED AND CHASING A FRISBEE. THE BIGGEST IMPROVEMENT IS IN MELISSA, A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD GRAYHOUND MUTT MIX. IT IS SO DELITEFUL BECAUSE SHE AND PEPE, ELEVEN YEAR OLD ALASKAN SPITZ, NO LONGER NEED ME TO LIFT THEM AND THEIR FREEDOM OF PAINLESS MOVEMENT IS ALSO A JOY TO THEIR THREE YEAR OLD BROTHER, SIR JACK, A VERY ACTIVE JACK RUSSELL. PLEASE GIVE ARTHOGEN A TRY FOR YOUR DOGS AND YOU TOO WILL HAVE A HEART JUMPING WITH JOY AT THE RELIEF YOU WILL SEE IN YOUR DOG'S LIFE.BARBARA

When I adopted Luther, a 2 year old German Shepard, I learned he suffered from Lyme Disease. He had been left untreated for quite some time therefore the disease has done permanent joint damage. As a result, Luther requires a daily dose of Glucosamine and Chondroitin, as would a senior dog, for the remainder of his life. After extensive research, I found that Arthogen met the Veterinarian's specifacations at a much lower cost than the leading comparable canine joint supplements.Luther has been on Arthogen for 2 months now and acts like a puppy. I am so impressed I recommend Arthogen to all my pet friends.
