  • WAS perfect until...
This was the perfect ball for my two four pound kittens. I have another 2.5" light up ball but it seems a bit large for them. This ball is perfect at first! They love it, it lights up with minimal movement so it easily grabs the kittens attention and I didn't think it would get lost easily. The lights were dimming so I tried to open it and see how to replace the batteries. It doesn't open and I had thrown out the packaging. I'm not sure how it's powered, if I'm supposed to throw it out, replace the battery, or if the battery recharges with motion? Unfortunately, when I introduced the kitties to a larger room, it got lost. If I don't find it soon I will definitely buy another. I bought a 2.5" ball with lights and also bird noises but like I said, it's a bit large and it really has to be smacked into a solid object for it to light up and my little kittens don't seem to be strong enough to play with it as long as this little ball here. I'd up the "ease of use" rating probably to a 5 if someone would just explain it to me! If it didn't have the on/off switch I'd be convinced that the battery is charged by motion or it's solar powered. by on 12/31/2012
  • Love the on/off switch. Save on battery life.
My kitties will love this Christmas gift. They love to play all night and now they will be able to play with a lighted toy. by on 12/09/2012
