Hello PetCareRX Vet!
I recently joined your web site and could not believe how much money I can save on prescription medications! My boy, Shine, is a shephard mix and has been diagnosed with a thyroid condition. He is currently taking Thyroxine 0.5 twice a day. My vet charges about a dollar a pill! I called him today and asked his office personel if he could be aware that I want to buy medicine from PetCareRX.com. I was told that he has a problem with Pet pharmacy sites and that he will not fill any medicines online. What should I do?
Tell your vet you prefer to by the medication from a pharmacy. There is no reason why your vet shouldn't write you a rx for this. You should also report him/her to the state veterinary board for not writting you a rx and forcing you to pay his/her prices. This is wrong and I routinely write rx for my patients that want to buy the drugs elsewhere. It is their right to do so. My advice, find a new vet. Vetcare
