My cat, Beethoven, is four years old and has the beginning stages of a cataract in his left eye and possibly one in the right. He doesn't appear to be having any kind of problem seeing but the left eye does look cloudy when he is looking into a bright light which concerns me. Our vet has examined him recently and commented he was a bit young to be having such a problem but suggested we wait until his next yearly visit to see if the condition has progressed. In the meantime the Vet suggested if I wanted to take him to an eye specialist he could recommend someone for me. Before I even consider doing anything like that I have a question - is there anything I can be doing for Beethoven in the meantime to prevent this from getting any worse like some type of eye drops, etc?
No, there is not much you can do for a cataract but I do recommend that you go to an eye speialist for a more quidance. vetcare
