I have an 11 month old kitten that has inhalent Allergies resulting in skin changes, exzeme. I have just moved here from Germany, am German, and in need of the medication for my cat. She has been tested for allergies, over 500 different allergens, so we know she is allergic. Although I only need to give her 0,2ml of Dexametasone every 3 weeks, I cannot get a vet here to give me the medication to give to her. They all want to retest her, eventhough I have shown them the lab results from Germany and France. This is unnecessary stress for my cat and of course very much money for me since I already have spent very much to find out what was wrong with her. Is there anything I can use to help her relieve the itching she has. Her last shot was 3 weeks ago, and she ´has begun to scratch again and get exzeme around her eyes, ears, and muzzle.
Thank-you for your time.
I am sorry but the company can not give this medication with out a prescription. Maybe you can try an over the counter medication such as a steroid creme or cortisone creme. There are not many over the counter medications that are safe for cats. Good luck, vetcare
