My cat experiences quite frequent bouts of diahrea. he will eat only dry food, not interested in canned at all. We have narrowed it down we think to when he licks plastic bags. It is almost a mustard yellow and with him being long haired can get all over him and then the furniture. Could it be th plastic..or should I be looking into having his anal glands removed as a friend suggested. It is very rank. He is neutered, but the vet left the testicles, which I have never seen before. He is 4 1/2 yrs old...no specific breed.
The anal glands have nothing to do with the diarrhea. It may be the plastic bags which is an easy cure b/c all you have to do is restrict access to the bags. Chances are it is not the bags and there is another problem such as parasites or inflammatory bowel dz. vetcare
