Recently somebody told me that feeding your dog purina one dog food reduces shedding. Have you heard this to be true? I was also told by a vet that iams is the very best for my golden retriever. Also do those anti-shedding vitamins you add to the food really work in reducing shedding? If so, how long would he have to take the vitamins before we see a difference? Or maybe there something you can recommend?
Changing to purina will not stop shedding. Nothing will completely stop shedding b/c shedding is a normal process. Try derm-caps. I have found in the past that this vitamin has helped. vetcare
