is it really advised to have YEARLY distemper shots? isnt that really just to help fund the vaccine makers and neighborhood vet? Immunity shouldnt decline that fast. it used to be that one gave the puuppy series, and revaccinate if elderly or ill/getting surg.
are there any studies that really support needing yearly shots as adults? thanks for your opinion and honesty on this.
Ask your vet to run a distemper titer (bllod test) on your pet. If your pet has a good titer then he does not need a vaccine. Otherwise you are taking a chance. Thanks, vetcarerx vet team
