I have a dwarf hamster and recently (in the past 2 weeks) there has been a growth on his right eyelid. It has gotten significantly bigger. It started out light pink and now is a dark red. The end of it has started to grow fur on it. He's always been relly mean so if I had to give him medicine of any kind it would be difficult. Other than that he seems to be doing fine. He sleeps in different postions now (on his back like a dog instead of the balled up postion like before) What should I do? And what is it that's growing on his eyelid?
I do not know what is growing on the lid but I do recommend a vist to the vet for possible removal and biopsy. vetcare
