What are possible causes of a cat not being able to properly digest her food and what can be done. Misha my 21/2yo calico has on-going runny or loose stools and let out little drips on the windowsills, floors and wherever she lays. I have changed her food numerous times and the vet cannot find anything wrong short of doing bloodwork and/or exploratory surgery. This is a long on-going problem and we are getting frustrated. We love this cat very much but hate her problem. Please Help!
This could be inflammatory bowel dz which can have many causes including bacteria, viral, immune mediated, parasitic etc.. This can also be an intestinal parasite. Your cat should see a vet. vetcare
