I have three questions, all relating to our new cat we adopted.
My new cat is the fourth cat and the other three are about the same age, all under 2 years old.
problem #1: He does not like to use the litter box for urination. we have had to block off all the sinks in the house because he tends to scratch the walls of the sink and urinates. we have tried taking him to the litter box and we have tried to make sure that the litter boxes (four)are clean. He still cries in the morning and tries to get to one of the sinks in the house to urinate. He has also defacated a couple of times in one of the closets, but we close the door on that one. He will usually give up adn go to the litter box. Other than keeping the litter boxes cleaned I really do not know what to do.
Problem #2: we picked up one of our other cats from the street about a year ago. she was starving and eating out of garbage cans. she is now very healthy and extremely happy to be living in a house and ev
#1) keep the boxes clean and buy another box. Some cats will not go in the box another cat has gone into.
#2)Leave the 2 cats alone they will figure out the social order. The worse thing you can do is force them together or apart. vetcare
