I have used Advantage on my cat several times with no problems. Yesterday I received my dog and cat advantage and applied it to both. My cat is fine but the dog has a very repugnant odor. Is this normal for a dog? He has the type of mange that is carried thru the blood lines but it is under control, could that have anything to do with the odor the dog is putting off from the advantage. It was not there before we put the advantage on him.
I personally think the odor was coming from the advantage. Once the advantage is absorbed you should not smell it. I smell it as well when I put it on my dog. vetcare
