One of our two cats disappeared about a month ago. The remaining cat, Comet, is meowing at us constantly. She meows for us to wake up, then to feed her, then to pet her, etc. She stops for a little while then when she has a need she starts up again. She never used to meow much at all. She knows I'll use the squirt gun if she meows when I'm in bed, so she hides around the corner and can meow for HOURS. What is going on with her and what should we do?
It sounds like she may not be spayed. If not then I recommend that you spay her. She may also miss her companion. vetcare
