I attempted to online purchase your heartguard for my two dogs: Max and Caroline thru Mindy your customer rep...she called my vet...they acknowledge that the heartguard antigen test and was performed 4/7/01 but will not give me a script/ok from their vet unless I pay an additional fee on each dog for that script. Mindy has said I cannot get the heartguard, a 12 mos supply for Caroline, 26-50lbs supply and a 12 mos 51-100lbs supply for Max thru your online service unless I have this script...help...
???: Do you know any other method and/or means for me to obtain this heartguard?
What your vet is doing is wrong and may even be illegal. You have the right to buy a medicine from another source. Your vet just wants you to buy the product from them. You should never have to pay for a RX. You should report your vet to the state board for making you pay for a RX. My advice, find a new vet. Good luck, Mrs. vetcare P.S. you need a rx to peucase the medicine, sorry
