Hi! My 2 year old dog (Lab/ St. Bern mix)has always had a very dry nose. Lately, it has become crusty and flakey. She acts like a pup, plays, east well, doesn't seem to be in any pain, etc. My Vet says if her nose has always been dry it is not a problem. Should I be concerned? Thanks!
Some types of autoimmune diseases can cause the nose to be crusty and dry looking. If your vet told you not to worry then i would not worry. If you want a second opinion then I recommend a visit to a dermatologist. vetcare
