My 9 yr. cat won't eat. It's been three months already. She sticks her tongue out when food is presented & sort of twists it around. She has had numerous tests by two different vets offices. They treated her for sinus, ear infection, did dental work & cleaning. They can't find anything. Her blood work showed her liver was elevated a bit but not to worry. She had problems with her liver yrs. ago but came through it alright. We force feed her-1 can of food daily with a little extra water & pet tonic. She is finishing her last antibiotic. They say they don't know what else to do for her. She has had ivs & fluid under the skin. We are all at a loss. Any ideas would be appreciated. They even looked down her throat & in her sinuses. The xray of her jaw seems to be fine. What could it be?
I recommed an ultrasound of her abdomen. This may help with a diagnosis. You may want to try a university hospital. vetcare
