My 9 year old orange tabby
has had 3 seizures. The first occured when he was 6 years old, the second when he was 8 years old and the third this past week. The first time, he did not lose conciousness, but did so on the two subsequent occasions.
When the second occured, I brought him to the vet who ran tests and stated he could find nothing and suggested food allergies, as I sometimes give him small amounts of human food, beef, chicken or pork.
do you think this is possible and do I need to be concerned that he could die from a seizure?
It is unusual for an animal to die from a seizure. I do not think it is related to the food. We usually start animals on anti-seizure meds if they seizure more then 2 times in 6 weeks. vetcare
