Question # 1: I have a 10 year old Shih Tzu and he has lost several of his teeth in front. He eats normal and does not seem to be in pain.Is there a problem or is this part of his normal aging process????
Question #2: The same 10 year old Shih Tzu goes on several walks a day, but seems to go for 2 to 3 days without making a bowel movement. I live in Georgia and I am wondering if it may be the intense heat we have been having??? Or do I need to see a vet????? Please help!!
This is part of the ageing process but good dental hygiene will help prevent tooth loss. Your vet may be able to help by cleaning the teeth, then you can follow up with brushing daily. About the bowel movements, if your pet is not straining to defecate and he eats normally then do not worry about it. vetcare
