I just moved to a new town about three weeks ago. My puppy,Levi, is in the 'adolesent' phase, he is alomost 8 mos old.
Before I moved he was always eating...seemed like i couldnt keep the food in front of him. Now that i have moved, he has had to go through several changes. He went from having a house full of animals to play with and living inside to no animals to play-only those to bark at- and having to stay outside(which i thought he would love).
Levi now barely eats, if i am lucky i can get him to eat about two cups of feed if it has gravy. I have taken him to a vet already who told me that Levi looks great..one of the best looking pups he has seen. As much as you would think that would make me feel better, it doesnt.
My question is: what could be causing him not turn his nose up at the food? Being lonely? Being too hot? or Feeling like he has been abandoned? I am extremely worried about him. Please help me figure out what might be wrong. He has already had al
It is normal for a dogs appetite to go down after about 6 mo of age b/c they are no longer growing as quickly. Stress will also decrease appetite. vetcare
