I have two cats both showing signs that they have worms. Chickapea has contracted tapeworms before and the vet put her on Droncet and Advantage. Chickapea has two big worms in her butt that move outward some. Should I try to remove them next time they appear or will that hurt her? They went away but now they have reoccurred. My other cat China has fleas and I have been finding black specs where she sleeps. I went to clean her bed and found small white-yellow flat worms. What are they and can I use the same treatment for both cats. They are indoor cats. I don't have the money right now to take them to the vet. What should I do?
It sounds like your pets have tapeworms caused by fleas. Use droncit to kill the worms and use a flea shampoo or advantage for the fleas. Good luck, vetcare
