I am having a very difficult time getting my geriatric cat ( almost 21 yrs. old) to eat. He is otherwise healthy, as etermined by regular check-ups, but I can't seem to find anything he will eat well. He seems hungry, and does eat small amounts of both canned and dry food, but not enough of anything to maintain his weight. He acts hungry and is enthusiastic about the idea of eating, but just takes a few bites and walks away, screaming for something else. Any suggestions on how I can entice him to eat more?
You can try warmming up the food. Good luck, vetcare
