My dog will be 10 years old in August. Yesterday, she became very ill. She had thrown up 5 times, and became very limp with a glassy eye look about her. She has no real response to touch, and she does not even swallow her own saliva. Her mouth is like it welded shut, and the saliva just pools around her mouth on the floor. She is at the vets office. In the last 24 hours there has been no change. I am wondering if she has had a stroke,Because it seems as if her mind has just locked up. If you could tell me what you think that it could be,I would greatly appreciate it. She also just lays there on the floor with no real movement at all. Thank you.
A stroke is uncommon but possible. Good luck, vetcare
