My Tina (8 years old) has lost poundage ... Went from 11 pounds to 9 pounds. I noticed the weight loss in the last few days and took her yesterday to a vet (new vet). Blood tests were taken. In the meantime, she won't eat or drink water. I have been force feeding Baby food and water.
Do you have suggestions? Know what could be wrong?
How many ccs of water should she get per day to keep her hydrated?
I brought a 2 week old kitty in but took her to the vet and she has to go back for shots. Do you think there is a problem there? I have two other adult cats (Samson 6 yrs. and Nikki 8 years) besides the aforementioned and they aren't sick. Thanks again.
If yor cat is not eating then she needs to be hospitalized b/c it will be almost imposible for you to force into her the amount of water and food she needs daily. It is hard for me to say what is wrong with her without examining her but the amount of weight she has lost is serious. vetcare
