I have 2 cats. Snuggles is 9 years and Hoosier is 6. They have always been very loving to each other, practically inseparable. I took Snuggles to the vet 6 days ago, he has a urinary tract infection, he also got his vaccination shots. They tried to do a blood test but Snuggles wouldn't let them. He got pretty upset.
I wasn't gone for more than an hour. I returned home and when I opened the cat carrier door both cats just went into a hissing fit. Hoosier chased Snuggles all around until Snuggles went under the bed. Hoosier is a little bigger and has more trouble getting under there.
Anyway, I thought it would just be a day or two and they would be back to normal as this happened before. BUT it's now 6 days. I have to keep them separated or they'll kill each other. This is extremely heart breaking for me because I love them both and if you could just see how they use to be. Their behavior is really unbelievable and it's getting me very upset. I'm finding myself mad at Hoosier for b
Leave them alone. They will work it out. This is not unusual. vetcare
