My poodle has started developing ear inflammation. I've been treating him at home by cleaning his ears with a dog ear cleaning product and carefull swabbinb out the external ear plus puting antibacterial powder in his ears - with a little success. I also pin up his ears to tolerance (which isn't very long). Anything else I can do?
It sounds like something is causing your pets ears to be inflammed. The most common reason for this would be an ear infection. Ear infections should be examined by your vet so a proper diagnosis can be made. Treatment for ear infections usually include antibiotics or anti-fungals. Allergies can also cause the ears to be inflammed. vetcare
