I have a kitten who is going on 1 year old. She has horrible breath. It always smells as if something is decomposing in her mouth. I have tried numerous treats designed to eliminate the bad breath, but she is such a finicky eater, that she never eats them. She will only eat her usual dry food. Is there any thing I can do to solve the horrible breath my kitty has? Thank you!
First, I would have your pet checked for Felv and Fiv. Both viruses can result in bad breath from gum dz. Dry food is good for the gums and teeth so I would stick with it. The type of food can also be the culprit. Changing the food can sometimes help. vetcare
