I HAVE A STANDARD SIZE POODLE THAT IS 4 YEARS OLD. ONE OF HIS EYES IS ALWAYS WATERY AND RUNNY. I HAVE COME HOME FROM WORK AND IT HAS BEEN CLOSED AND THE LIDS STUCK TOGETHER. I TAKE A WARM WASH CLOTH AND CLEAN HIS EYE. THE OTHER EYE IS FINE. I HAVE HAD HIM SINCE HE WAS 5 MONTHS OLD AND HIS EYE WAS ALWAYS LIKE THIS. IS THIS SOMETHING TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT?? WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS CONDITION??
If he has had this eye condition all his life ( 4 years) and it has not caused him any problems in the 4 years I doubt it will, all of a sudden, start to cause problems. An ophthalmologist should examine the eye. vetcare
