Worried pet owner,
I have never examined your pet and therefore can not recommend treatment but I can tell you that cats respond well to steroids when diagnosed with asthma. Steroids are a lot cheaper as well. Some cats need both brochodilators such as Brethine (R) and steroids which in combination is cheaper then the medication you wrote about. I recommend that you talk to your vet about this or seek a second opinion. Maybe there is a specific reason why your pet can't be put on steroids- I do not know. vetcare
