My cat is 14 and has digestive problems. I read that cats can have separation anxiety. and my cat hasn't been alone this much ever (I'm currently going to school to be a vet assistant) in her life. She has got a big patch of little scabs that sometimes have clear discharge. I usse a hydrocortisone shampoo and also use 2 differnt anti-itch sprays at night and when I get home from school. I'm feeding her Eukanuba Hairball Remedy (she's got major problems w/ that too) and Purina One sensative systems. She does keep down soft food like Whiskas in the pouch. When I'm on vacation and home alot ot gets better, or when I give her lots of attention for long periods of time. Could this be psychological? If it is- how do you fix things like that? I also heard at Petsmart that corn is a common allergy to cats that causes problems. What do you think it is?
Most cats will over groom which could be a sign of anxiety. It does not sound like your pets condition is from anxiety. vetcare
