Can you please give me some advice about our dog. He is ten years of age. He is a Jack Russell/Fox Terrier.
He is having lots of problems with his bowls, he is going through a tuff time now. For about a week now he had bad dairee and sometimes vomits. At first his stools was bloody and watery, we tokk him to the vet, she gave him Flagyl 250mg and Novopharm. This did not help and we took him back to the vet. They took n sample of his stool and said that they could not find anything. He then gave him Clavamox, it seemed to work, last night he made a poo in the house, it was dark brown and very watery. Today again he looks beter.
We had him on a raw food diet, but the vet recomended that we take him off from it and put him back on Hills Prescription diet can food. It seems to work and he is eating well. Do you think that we must deworm him or not now.
Thanks for your time.
I would recommend that you have your pet dewormed if your pet has worms. Was your pet diagnosed with worms? Otherwise it sounds like you have the situation under control. Try to be consistent with your pets diet. Consistency is important when dogs are prone to diarrhea. vetcare
