We just adopted a greyhound three weeks ago, and he was given Droncit(5 tabs)on Oct. 27 for his tapeworm. The tapeworm is still very much alive and moving in his stool, however! How soon can we reworm him, and should we use a wormer other than Droncit, since he may be resistant to it?
Your pet is not resistant to Droncit. Your pet may not have tapeworms. Have you had the stool checked by the vet. Maybe there are other worms in your pets intestines that need to be treated since droncit only treats tapeworm? vetcrae
